  1. I need to stop looking at pictures of your new gun. I am trying to funnel my tax return refund towards projects around the house. edited for not knowing how to spell
  2. Will anyone be at the show this year that can furnish pictures?
  3. I just had the same arguement with my 6 year old daughter about basketball this morning. My 7 year old likes to play but since the 6 year doen't like it then she thinks it's stupid. FYI: Part of the agenda for the January 26-27 USPSA board meeting is to approve the Steel Challenge Policy Manual. This would probably be the venue to give your 2 cents on the rules for the future of Steel Challenge.

    Tom Cruise...

They say that the people who are crazy are the only ones that don't see it. At least that is what my Doctor keeps telling me.
  5. On the closing credits of Shooting USA they showed Max shooting one of the stages. If someone taped the show go back and watch how he shot the first array of targets. As he is finishing up the last target he goes strong hand only on the last shot as he reaches for a mag to start a mag change before he runs to the next set of targets. There was a slight hesitation in his move which is why I was wondering if this was the planned way to shoot the targets or did he almost forget to get the second shot on paper? I have never seen this done before. Is this common?
  6. Did anyone scan up to the top of the page at the IPSC Global Village link that spook referenced? Vince posted a picture that references a bad example of a holstered pistol. I didn't even notice the pistol at first.
  7. Direct from Montana Gold is the cheapest for me. Warning: Your mailman will hate you for the bulkrate delivery boxes that weigh 65lbs.

  9. Wow, that is a nice looking pistol. Good luck to everyone on the forum who entered.
  10. You could use the same pin. One trick that some people are doing is placing the pin in a different location on the shoe to change the trigger further, but you need to know that once this is done, it will be considered a external modification.
  11. I usually clean off that small spot behind my head so I can turn around and flip off the driver behind me who is beeping their horn because the snow is coming off my car in big chunks and hitting their windshield.

    Glock for open ?

My only question on the Lone Wolf open gun would be concerning the "drop in" top end or upper. Wouldn't you want the barrel to be custom fit to the frame and/or locking block along with the slide if you are trying to achive major? I don't know enough about gunsmithing or open guns to know the answer but that seems to jump out at me.

    Glock grip mods?

From the research I have been doing on reducing the Glock Bump, it looks like you have to sacrifice the plug area in the back of the grip to change the grip shape. My only concern on doing this would be losing the ability to put in a plug to install a magwell. I guess that is a choice you have to make.

    Glock grip mods?

Thank you. I will have to look into having a grip done with this reduction.

    Glock grip mods?

It depends on what you have done. The "Glock Hump" can be removed which gives a more 1911 like grip angle along with making the grip alot smaller. Do you have any pictures of what that would look like?
  16. Nice pics. I am always looking for pictures like these for my computer wallpaper.

    Light strikes

Did someone say a G34 is for sale? Oh darn, I am looking for a G34 Slide. The great thing about owning a Glock is that the parts are cheap enough to have a couple on hand and you don't have to wait till one breaks before you replace it.

    KFC... Sadistic devils

Did you get the 3 gallon size tumbler of pepsi to go with it?

    Dawson ICE

I just installed a new Dawson Ice magwell with no modifications to my G35. The frame could have been pinched a little if I wasn't careful but I was able to work in into place without having to make any modifications. WOW, what a difference in your grip. I know I am probably stating the obvious to those that already have a magwell, but the difference is incredible. Not only does it help with your strong hand support but as you cant your support hand, it further emphasizes your grip.
  20. The original drop in kit is production legal but Vanek's web site states that the new Super Kit would not be. Both kits are available.
  21. You are correct. Vanek has made a modification to the ledge to assure the trigger bar does not fall. Part of the instructions for the new trigger has you test all the safeties to make sure they are in working order. I liked the new Super Kit #1 so much, I ordered another for my second Glock.
  22. I have been testing Vanek's new "drop in" Super Kit #1. The Super Kit #1 is a step up from his current "drop in" kit #1. This will also be offered as a GM Super Kit as well if you chose to go with the firing pin. There is barely any pre-travel on this trigger at all. No more mushy glock trigger anymore. He has it set up as a "drop in" so there is no need for any tinkering once you receive the kit. Charlie told he will be launching the new offering on his web site very soon.
