Go for it with the grip tape. I have been using a standard grip tape kit for the last few years on my Glock 17 with great success. After reading the experiences of others on this forum using TruGrip, I wanted to give it a try. Holy Cow, what a difference. TruGrip is Awesome. The other grip tape helped with my sweaty hands but the TruGrip gives me a more comfortable and stable grip around the entire grip area. It is also softer and doesn't rip up my hands like a large grit sandpaper grip. Punch in TruGrip in the search funtion on the site to read other experiences as well. Thanks guys. I am so used to everything on a Glock being "drop in" type parts, I wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one who experienced this. The next time I will have the file ready.

I just installed a set of Sevigny sights on a new 34. This is the third different Glock that I have these sights on and I am very happy with them once they are installed. Does anyone else notice how tough the rear sight is to install? I have installed other sights using my Glockmeister tool without as much trouble. By the time the rear sight was installed the tool was cooked. I am not sure if this is due to the tight tolerences of the sight or maybe the tool is not setup to handle them. Due to the fact that the part of the sight that in the cut out of the slide is forward of the the raised part of the sight would certainly raise the torque factor as well. I put a little lube on the sight to ease the installation without much luck. I am curious other peoples experiences are with these sights and what tools they are using. Thanks guys.

Eric Lund is the volunteer instructor for a half-day of classroom explanation of the rules and requirements for USPSA shooting. Eric’s Presentation takes the class through a complete explanation of range procedures, the rules, the scoring, and the safety requirements. The afternoon is one-on-one work with the guns starting with the grip. The additional Instructors are experienced shooters with the Gwinette Practical Shooting League who have volunteered to help start these new shooters with the right fundamentals, the proper grip, the right sight picture, and how to show the gun is clear at the end of a run through a stage. The final step is running the new shooters through a small stage of fire to get them used to shooting against the timer.
