  1. Red hill tactical. Depends on what gun you’re using.
  2. Ok, sorry for dumb question but who makes 155s?
  3. Yeah, that’s true...still probably doesn’t come up that often though.
  4. Probably rare to NEED to run one handed except maybe to open doors or activate things.
  5. I’m curious, it seems like most are shooting TMJ or FMJ. The open guys seem to be shooting JHP for more accuracy. What are you shooting? How many people are shooting JHP? Are there any disadvantages such as comp getting filthy from the exposed lead, feeding issues, cost? Are the PCCs accurate enough and USPSA targets too close anyway that any increased accuracy with a JHP is a wash anyway? Let’s hear your thoughts!
  6. I’ve used the new JP system in my GMR-15 for the past 2 weeks now. It seems like it cycles faster to me, but it may just be psychological. Recoil seems low, but I can’t say if it is lower than with the stock. Definitely a bit more painful to not be able to lock the bolt back to flag/reflag for the make ready. I forgot to charge once before starting which was somewhat embarrassing, but I guess it’s a learning curve...beep...click...huh?...Dang...charge...bang. My wife kept hers stock, didn’t want to fix something that wasn’t broken, and she’s still beating me for the most part, but it’s probably me and NOT the gun. TL:DR The JP kit in the GMR-15 is nice. I do honestly think it’s better than the stock, but maybe marginally so. That said, this is a game of tenths of a second, so it probably does make a difference in the end. The question is if it is worth the $$ to you, and that’s a different question for each person.
  7. Probably the MBX pro series PCC would also be a good choice.
  8. Sorry to highjack, but this thread has been awesome so far about introducing me to boutique interesting parts...does anyone have good suggestions for lightening up a JP GMR-15? Does anyone with experience know which parts actually fit/work?
  9. They’re here........ seriously, I know guys’ entire PCCs that weigh less than this thing, ?
  10. Also wind noise mitigation is about a million times better on Pro Ears.
  11. Sound quality on Pro Ears is a million times better than the MSAs. A million times. I prefer the n size version because the batteries are smaller and take up less room in the ear cups. They die fairly quickly, so you can buy some on Amazon and just keep some spares in your range bag.
  12. Just get some Pro Ears and be done with the nonsense! ?
  13. I think the window cut is a good idea anyway to reduce the mass in the slide so it can potentially cycle faster anyway, right? In fact, I was curious about additional lightening cuts or holes in the slide. Has anyone explored that?
  14. Thanks for the replies. I’m probably going with a DPP with a 2.5 red dot. Out of curiosity, I am intrigued by the non-powered RMR, specifically with 9.0 green dot. Seems like one solution to electronics problems is to eliminate the electronics. Has anyone tried the Tritium/FO version for competition? Is it bright enough? Is the yellow version better? Does even THAT have problems of some kind?
  15. Anyone know the weight difference between Lok palm swell shadow 2 grips and the Henning aluminum shadow 2 grips?
  16. Is that mag full? I would think the weight closest to the buttstock would be best so for reloads the weight is closer to your core and it would also be easier to transition faster?
  17. Especially coming form a Glock, where you’re probably better off throwing a pointed stick at the Target when it comes to precision and accuracy, ?
  18. Well, the Shadow 2 is accurate enough, followed by the Shadow 2 Target which is accurate enough, and finally here is also the Accushadow which is also accurate enough. I hope that helps.
  19. It’s going on a big fat carry optics gun, which is already barely making weight, so I don’t think it will fit, and even if it does may push it over weight. Thanks for the suggestion, though. On PCC I’m using an Aimpoint.
  20. I’m shopping for dots, and the thing I hate the most is stuff that breaks. I have 4 vortex razors for PCCs, and one of 4 has already broken in less than a year. I’m shopping for carry optics so I understand that it rides the slide and really beats on the sight, and everything will break eventually. The RMR seems like it is probably the most durable, but nobody seems to like it for USPSA. I get that the window is square and small, but is this the only reason why it isn’t good for competition? Does it really matter that much? Has anyone used one with success or actually likes it? Thanks!
  21. Well, I bought 2 of the JP ones. Hopefully they don’t suck. But, if they do, I’ll just switch back and sell it to some suckers! ?
  22. I opened that taccom link and had to cover my phone! Can I buy that at my local adult toy store? ?
