  1. Also, I wonder what the grip angle is on this... i just measured it off it off an image and it looks like around 16 degrees so similar to a 1911. I guess the other question is what’s the difference between the regular and the “pro” model? Just the magwell? Because if that’s the case, I guess we want the non-pro model.
  2. I was this close to ordering a plastic Q5 match literally 2 days ago, bought a PPS with the Shield dot for carry instead...really glad I did. I was going back and forth between the Sig, the new Zev OZ9 and the Walther...I think this new steel frame is enough to push me over the edge for sure! Anyone know when these will be released?
  3. More like Shield also sold as JPoint
  4. For production I use T1 ammunition 147 gr. in a CZ Shadow 2.
  5. Seeing the situation from their perspective though, if they actually tested the barrels and found them to be accurate, what are they supposed to say? You’re right, the barrels are junk? Perhaps the best way to resolve it on their part would be to say they didn’t find anything wrong with the barrels and then give you your money back, because you will probably never be happy unless they are as accurate as whatever your personal benchmark is. Here’s the thing though. It will probably never be as accurate as a JP barrel. I think that’s an unrealistic expectation. You’ve made a choice, to take light weight and low price over accuracy. You don’t get something for nothing. At this point, the damage has been done with you, you will never be happy with that barrel , and the only thing that will make it right is for you to get your money back and figure something else out. In the meantime, myself and many others will continue to buy MBX products, and I think it’s probably important for you and your ego to realize that your opinion probably doesn’t matter to the rest of the world as much as you think should. Thanks for reporting your experiences, though, it’s good to have as much information out there as possible. I’m not replying to any other posts in this thread, no matter how much you guys try to troll me. Again, I hope it works out to your satisfaction.
  6. For the record, I’d like to chime in and say that I think MBX is a very good company. I have a lot of their products, and everything that I have bought from them has worked well, and I haven’t had a problem with either service or the product. I have had communication with them about issues that were my fault and they were very prompt, very understanding and accommodating to me. I think that it’s not fair hearing from a few people who have had bad experiences and then automatically assume that’s how they are with everyone, or that every one of their products is bad. I hope things work out for you guys.
  7. Can you please elaborate on what the problems were with the ETS mags and what you Dremeled to get them to work? thanks
  8. Anyone with experience with long ammo length and the TTI’s? Like say 1.15? I know the TF website says it won’t work with ammo loaded that long.
  9. Does anyone have any experience with the TTI 10 round extensions for PCC? Any experiences with different mag bodies such as Glock vs ETS? Also any comparisons between these pads/springs vs. the TF ones? Also any experiences about how they work with different ammo lengths? Thanks
  10. A picture is worth a thousand words
  11. I’ll buy 10 42 round mags, and I’m sure many of other people would too...the same number of people who would buy +10 basepads at least, and then some.
  12. I would argue that there are so many more people shooting PCC than open glocks though...I think a 42 rounder would sell like hot cakes (sorry for sounding like my grandfather)
  13. That would cost the world like eleventy billion dollars though
  14. I really wish that magpul or ets would just make a 42 rounder so we wouldn’t have to fiddle with extensions and springs and stuff. I wonder why they don’t. I also wonder what’s taking magpul so long to release their 27 rounder...and why they would even bother with a 27 rounder when they could just release a 42 rounder and the world would be a better place. That’s all
  15. We’re not dropping PCC mags. At least those of use who don’t live in 10 round states. The mags we drop are usually the 17 rounders. Re: 2 oz is a waste: 2 oz here, 2 oz there, it adds up. When you are buying new pads and you have a choice to buy one that is $10 cheaper, and 2 oz lighter, it seems the waste to me to buy the aluminum one if it is only for looks. That’s my take on it.
  16. I’m trying to lighten things up and this is one of the places where I could potentially do that. Little bits add up, and this is probably one of the places where people don’t give it much thought.
  17. Thank you very much!! In retrospect, I guess I could have estimated given that the density of aluminum is about 1 and the density of delrin is about 0.49 that as long as the dimensions are the same, it should be about half the weight. The parts themselves are not always the same dimensions though. Thank you.
  18. Does anyone know the weights of the delrin and aluminum Taylor Freelance 41+1 basepads?
  19. Forward charging handle for Foxtrot Mike Upper. https://www.primaryarms.com/fm-products-16in-9mm-complete-upper-with-brake
  20. I guess the first question is how do you do the unloaded table start? Gun laying on the right side or the left side? Also do you shoulder it then load, or do you try to game it by shoving the mag in then shoulder it and charge it?
