Do you guys really think this ammo is better than other match grade fmj ammo? I just remember back when I used to shoot moly coated just because it was cheaper and this stuff reminds me of that. Is it an emperor in new clothes kind of thing? Am I missing something? Is it just really good marketing? Especially .45 acp. 52 cents per round? That’s ridiculous.

My colt works fine...until I try to put an extension on it, which is a problem for PCC. I have 2 GMR-15s that run like tops. There are a few guys locally running colt mags but they all required some serious fitting and polishing, etc. to work, and I would say still not as reliable as Glock mags in my opinion. Also, $100 for mags?! Not even...way more than that for all the goodies for either colt or Glock. Plus, don’t forget the belt and mag pouches. Oh yeah, and optics and mounts...Dang this is getting expensive, haha. If you want lefty mag release maybe you should check out Ruger PCC as an option too?

Does ANYONE actually prefer the tube style over the reflex style?

Which do you prefer and why? I would think a reflex would be faster, but does it really matter? I would also think it would be easier to pick up the dot. What do you think?

Ok, I’ve given up on the Taylor Freelance +10 colt extension. They have driven me crazy. Has anyone tried the taccom magazine splice for colt mags? Can you please share your experiences and any advice? Thanks!

Crud. Now I got the follower stuck in the extension while trying to load it up to test. The spring is compressed all the way down and I can’t even get the extension off anymore. I tried poking the follower with a stick to free it, but it won’t budge. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to free up the follower so I don’t have to throw the whole thing in the trash?

So how long to cut the rod for a 16 inch barrel?

Curious if anyone has had a squib round in PCC and what you used to clear it? I’m thinking maybe a handgun squib rod may be too short? Someone got a squib in a pistol at today’s match, and it got me thinking about what I would do if I got one in the PCC. Thanks!

Thanks. I bought the springs, they should be on the way! Did you have to do anything with the metal follower? I guess I’m going to have to pound on this thing with a nylon hammer like a 2011 mag too..

So the guys using Brownells, are you bending the tabs on the baseplate and removing the spring from the baseplate to use a naked spring or are you just dropping in the Taylor Freelance Spring?

ETS mags...you don’t have to do 1 thing to those mag tubes. You do have to file the follower though which takes about 1 minute. On the MBX video too Cobb shows how the ETS mags angle the bullets better than the Glock mags so it feeds better. I’ve also got 1 Glock 31 rounder that doesn’t drop free, but all my ETS mags drop free without modification.

I thought about doing that, but I think the rod is there to keep it from rotating inward because there is still some flex in the belt, so I left it.

Bladetech. Right now I have a CR Speed C Bax hanger, but I think the rod digs into my leg too much. I should probably buy a Ben Stoeger BOSS hanger instead.

I can’t seem to find instructions. Does anyone have any tips on how to install the colt +10 extension for the colt mags? Any tips such as rounding the follower like Glock mags or nothing but naked spring in the extension, no baseplate? Also, certain mags seem to fit very tight. I only have about 3 out of about 7 that will actually go in and out of the gun easily. Any tips on which mags will fit the well the easiest? Right now I have metalform, c products, brownells (which have a steel follower). I have 2 c products and 1 metalform that fits. I want to get this Bushmaster Carbon 15 going! thanks
