  1. Hi all, I been having problems with my c-more for awhile now on my open gun. The dot just goes out at the worst possible time. I'm almost positive its the battery connections as discussed in this thread; http://www.brianenos...734&hl=rheostat If I hit my gun enough during a run it will sometimes come back on. I took it off the gun and sent it to C-More with a note explaining the problem. They replaced the click switch and sent it back to me, no charge. I put it back on the gun, went to the range to sight in. Fired the 1st shot and lost the dot again. Hit it, dot came back. Opened battery compartment and turned battery so that connectors are not in the dents of the battery and it worked well enough for me to sight in. Shot the next match and it died on the 1st shot. Got it working again for now but don't trust it at all. So should I keep taking it off and sending it back to C-more? I'm sure they will fix it at some point but its a PITA to keep putting it on and sighting in. Or do I just buy another one to put on the gun now and send the old one back for repair and keep as a spare? I think I just answered my own question...I have no patience for things that don't work. Would still like to hear what you guys have to say. Thanks
  2. You're rite, I don't. Me neither! But I like where you live RITE between I's
  3. That's great!!! Nobody gets mine either...thats why I like it
  4. "Did I go too far, telling her I wasn't driving when we went somewhere together anymore?" You know the answer to that. And you know your wife better than we do Yes that does get extremely irritating and distracting and I wish the two of you all the best in working thru it. But it sounds like that wasn't just a minor fender bender y'all went thru. Sounds like she got the worst of it and it was a life altering experience. Not hard to see why she would be scared riding with anybody. Good luck! ...the older I get + ...the more I agree with my wife = ...the easier my life is
  5. Too funny. I guess it served its purpose. It got him noticed and people talking about him
  6. How 'bout dem Cowbows ...but 2 weeks in a row, scary
  7. Yeah, I know what you mean. I wear contacts and its a different prescription depending on which division I'm shooting. Eotech and C-more you can have your script at infinity. Target and dot will be clear.
  8. Do you mind changing between large and small primer tubes? You're set up for large with .45 I load .40, .38SC, and .223 on my 550. I load .308 on a rock chucker. If I had alot of .308 to load and/or .45 I would have another dedicated 550 for large primers. But that's just me
  9. Santa gave me a beautiful wife to wake up with and a gorgeous day...80 degrees and sunny. As far as exchanging gifts, we're pooling our resources for an Alaskan cruise in the summer. Merry Christmas to all
  10. Here's mine. Not original, but the only one in the state.
  11. Sounds like you're human just like most of us Try leaving yourself "post-it" notes around for the important things.
  12. I thought we already had a minimum 50 post count to buy or sell in the classifieds? But I have seen on numerous occasions someone with no or low post counts posting, "I'll take it".
  13. OH, ya mean yer nut s'posed ta leave 'em up and turned on year round?
  14. Here's one Matt did for me. I don't know how much weight was removed.
  15. Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. So much to be thankful for
  16. I just thought this amusing. Received credit card statement today from one of the major cards and it had an offer enclosed. Seems they want me to open an "Ultimate Savings Account". A new program with them. I must give them (deposit) $1,000.00 and maintain a $ 1,000.00 balance for 3 consecutive months and they will give me $25.00 within 120 days after my 3rd month just for opening the account. Taxes and fees apply. ...here's your sign
  17. Ok Merlin...apology accepted Just wait till you start smashing primers putting 'em back in Mine still haven't loosened up after 4 firings. Good luck
  18. FWIW...My Dillon trimmer works great. Easy and fast. To answer the OP's question...my own personal experience is that I do not chamfer/debur .223 (MG 55gr). I do chamfer/debur .308 (SMK 168gr). The .308's were shaving and for me, its just a smoother operation to chamfer. I don't use the vacuum. I'd rather clean up the mess than listen to that noise.
  19. "Big Lug" belt clip sold at Home Depot glued on. Contact cement seems to be holding up so far on Surefire's.
  20. Sorry to show up to the party late...I've been using these recently. http://www.billibandana.com/3-point.html I like 'em but mostly to keep the sun off my extremely red neck. Be ready for a few comments about your new du-rag tho
  21. Rowdy-Finn, bummer, sorry to hear that. Sounds like you're not getting enough Krispy Kreme's up there. Take care
  22. One of my C-More sights just eats batteries; sent an email to the company but got no response. Will a bad module cause that problem? I change the battery every match, which is annoying and expensive. Thanks for the help. I thought mine was burning out batteries too...but actually I was throwing away perfectly good batteries Thanks to Flex for pointing me to this link; http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...amp;hl=rheostat Maybe...maybe not. Worth a try
  23. +1 About all you could do is let them know you're concerned (which you've probably been doing for years). Beyond that, let them live their own lives and don't look down on them for their life choices. Lost both my parents from smoking. I understand your frustration.
  24. I guess you could call that "Pro-Active RO'ing" Good job ,
