  1. Big Plus(++++) on the Green Mountain Bag. I've had mine for over ten years and still going strong. I've won or been given other bags(CED,Dillon), tried using them and always go back to the Green Mountain. Not that there's anything particularly wrong with the others, just seem to prefer the Green Mountain.
  2. Rem. Managed Recoil are very, very accurate in my Benelli. Can't say the same about the Fiocchi, they need to much Kentucky windage, won't hit point of aim.
  3. I went with a Leupold 2.5x8 Mark4 and a J-Point mounted on a Burkett offset mount for everything up to 75yds. Works great for me. Good luck with whatever you decide to go with.
  4. Get the 650, you can't miss with it. Gives you both versitility and speed. Order it from Brian. He'll set you up correctly from the get-go.
  5. Try Speed Shooters International or Shooters Connection, both very good guys and both support our sport to the max.
  6. Try 10.5Grs. of VV-N-105 and a 115Gr. MGJHP. That load makes 174PF in my gun.
  7. As far as primers go use small rifle. That way if you start reloading rifle you won't have to worry about stocking two different primers or getting them mixed up when reloading.
  8. I load my trubor to 1.175oal with a Montana Gold 124Gr. JHP.
  9. That's why it's called 3-gun,or multi-gun. I agree each weapon should be at least 15-20 rds. What better way to show your ability than to use all weapons on the same stage. Leaving it up to the competitor as to which weapon they want to use for which part of the stage would be even better.
  10. +2 on the S&A's. I have them on both of my S/S, there the best.
  11. What will the shotgun rules be for open? 10 rds. in the tube and one in the chamber,or can we use super extended tubes?
  12. + 1 on the Sierra Precision. I have them on both of my AR's and love them. The way they fill my hand and aid in the placement of my finger on the trigger beats anything else I've ever tried.
  13. I've had a Rugged Gear Cart since they first came out,LOVE it. Cant't be beaten, especially at big matches where you have alot of ground to cover moving from stage to stage. Good luck with whatever you choose.
  14. Calishootr; Are you refering to Jim the teacher from Nor-Cal? If so I saw him reload with that first stick many times and couldn't believe how fast he was. Not as fast with the following sticks but still very fast.
  15. Received my packet last week. Already made my reservations at the Orlean. See you there.
  16. I've worn M-Frames for more years than I wish to remember. In fact I just had a pair custom made with my Rx in them. Yea, getting that old. Point is I love them. I see no reason to change. Good luck with whatever you choose.
  17. You don't say what class your shooting but I have a Leupold 2.5-8.0 for anything over 100yds. and a J-Point at 45deg. for all the closer targets. Works for me.
  18. Just want to say thank's to Robert, all of his staff, the stats people RO's,helpers, and all the sponsors for making this a great match; I can't wait til next year. Also the weather was just right. Robert is a great guy. He donated a new AR of his own for a drawing for the juniors. Again, thanks to everyone for putting on a great match.
  19. Jack is very knowledgeable relating to and shooting 3-Gun. He assembles a good group of very good shooters to assist him. Each ass't. will specialize in a given area and pass on their unique tricks of the trade. You can't help but come away with more than you went in with, not counting a shirt. Good Luck!!
  20. Fingers work the best for me. Bending over is good exercise also.
  21. I've been using Oakley's for the last two yrs. They are comfortable for an all day 3-gun and show no wear at all. I've even worn them to work daily for months, they still feel and look great. They aren't cheap, but you only get what you pay for.
  22. Your processing order is the same as I follow. Always works for me. Good luck.
  23. I've used 4.5gr. Nitro 100 under a 200gr. LSWC for 15yrs. in a Para P-14. Always makes major,never a problem. Also recoil is easily manageable.
  24. I'm loading an oal of 1.175 for 9major in an STI Trubor. Fits in the SV mags with no problem and feeds well.
  25. I tried a number of different holsters before Blade Tech. After using the Blade Tech I'll never go back to anything else.
