For both of my Pro SX my load is 10.6gr of N105 with a zero 125gr bullet loaded to 1.240 to get 169PF. In order to get a higher margin, I would load to 10.7 for a 171PF. Chrono tests shows that with MG 124JHP, the velocity is about the same (within 0.5PF +/-)

Ken did a fabulous job this year and the stages were a good mix of challenges. This time around, I'll spend some time visiting the National Parks there.

The gen 1 throw levers work on the gen 2. My gen 2 did not come with a throw lever and I got the throw levers from Euro optic for $25.

Wish it was that simple...this was part of a 3000+ round loading session and it between batches so 1000 rounds is an appoximation. Look like I will expect a dud round in a local match somewhere...

Finished loading about 1000 rounds of 9mm major and noticed that there was an anvil from a primer sitting in my Dillon RF-100. I have one of the following conditions: 1. One of the primers is missing an anvil - will it fire? will it be a squib? or will it just not ignite the powder (best case) and I have a dud round. 2. The primer was missing and only the anvil was in the box in which case no big deal What are the experiences out there if it was condition (1)?

Great product. I radiused mine at the edges to take the sharpness off. I think having a spare parts kit for this would be a great addition. I had pulled the retention plastic bit and spring slide up a couple of times.

I have tried Autocomp on my buddy's gun and did not like the impulse that it had. I have been using Silhouette 7.9gr but have ran out and have N350 so loaded up some to try on my Sailor's Custom, 5in gun with 2 holes in the barrel. I liked the recoil impulse - sharp but flat. The load is slightly compressed. Chrono results below with PMC brass and WSR - primers looked really good. I am going to try 7.7/7.8 next. 4756 is more violent than N105. With a Kidd C-More shield and popple holes, it creates a blast area and there is corrosion on the blast shield for me in 38SC. The dot is also more eratic than N105. N105 is softer shooting and the dot tracking is excellent. Also 4756 is temperature sensitive. Lastly N105 is expensive!

You can also use computer monitor wipes. They come individually packaged from office supply shops and are very handy at the range.
