Did someone say lefty thumbrest? I make one that has a shield that protects your thumb from having casing any casinng fail and rip a hole in your thumb. I experienced it for my self and I'm glad I had it on. So I used it at the last two matches locally and I can't say enough about it. I love the control I gain. Seeing tht dot just snap back into the center of my Doctor is sweet! Great recoil management and consistant grip every time! I can't wait to hear from Jordan and get his input!

So Tanfoglio mags work in caspian frames? can that go vise sersa? I was just looking on the Caspian site and they have 9mm mags for sale and I'm wondering whether or not I should buy one to try out on my stock 2. I'd like to use it in limited division bt the EAA 9mm mags aren't the greatest. I know the mags don't look the same.

This thumb pedal doesn't have to be removed in order to access the slide stop pin so once it's on that's it. Your thumb is responsible for 70% of your grip strength. The ability to use it is a huge advantage and why so many shooters swear by it. I went and tested the pedal out and was blown away on just how much more control I had over the recoil recovery. I was able to relax my arms more, focus on trigger control and feel confident that after each shot my dot would return to center every time. The method I used was a plate rack at 45ft. 200 rounds without it then 200 rounds with it. What I found was that under major power ammo I still had the perfect grip every time with the pedal. It was the deciding factor for me. One thing we strive for as a competition shooter is consistency and this is what the thumb pedal brought to me. The perfect grip even after rapid fire and reloads. The bonus to that was the shot recovery. It seemed the more I relaxed and just kept a firm weak hand grasp the better and better the dot would return to center and the faster I was able to shoot! If you ever had any problems transitioning from target to target and truing up your dot here is your answer to the problem. The pedal in these pictures is a custom one I did for Jordan O. one of Rudy projects sponsored shooters. I beveled the thumb pad to the shape of his thumb and polished the exposed parts to a mirror finish. The beveling of the thumb is a huge advantage because it isolates your thumb to the same position every time and it feels like a part of you. costs quite a bit more because it takes forever to hand file the bevel into place.

I have developed a left handed thumb rest that can be positioned differently, provides a shield for your thumb so no matter how hard you grip the pistol you don't have to worry about having to rub the slide and also provides protection for your thumb from a poorly ejected round. The initial holes drilled are so the thumb pedal can fit the layout of the serendipity C-more plus has additional holes so you can position it up close or further away. The position of the week hand is crucial in order to get the right grip. The way the rest sits allows you to keep the forward cant of your wrist which is recommended by most top shooters. Here is my lefty blaster! It's a shorty in 9 major. The thumb pedal is done by TRIGGER HAPPY components. This is one of three models they make. The thing is incredible! No more slide rub like with the other thumb rests. Plus it protects your thumb from getting hurt from a bad ejection. PM me if your interested.

You can tell by the magazine. Show a photo of that. Large frame has an indention, small frame doesn't. It looks like a small frame to me. The distance between the safety and the slide stop is different. I'm green with envy!

If you think of it, how often does your trigger mechanism operate like that? Anser, never. You break the trigger and the gun goes to reset. The sear lands back down on the hammer and it's ready to go again. In tight tolerences you'll find a little contact especially just after the trigger job. If you like how it breaks now, run it and let it break in a bit. If it really bothers you, adjust the travel out a bit after the break. This will allow the sear to clear more. Either way it's not going to hurt much.

I took it out to the plate match last night with much success. I really liked the snappiness of the trigger. I made a mixed bag of ammo to shoot last night. I used three different kinds of primers and two different weights of bullets. Federals small pistol, Winchester small rifle and CCI small pistol magnums. It was a total of 300 rounds that I went through. This is the part that I'm so glad to say. All rounds ignited! No light strikes what so ever! The CCI spm were the ones I was most worried about so I made sure to inspect the casings and there were no signs of light strikes at all. Such a relief! Now if I can only get my conversion kit to work. My friends down at the range always give me a hard time because there's always something I'm doing to my guns. One guy said that someone should take away my power tools before I end up with half a gun. In so many ways he's right!

I'll check it out tonight. I'll give you dimensions at the peak of them. I'll also have some more pics to post. I just didn't have any time last night to finish. The wife was cranky after Yoga class. Got to love Yoga!

This gives your the profile of how low the bullets sit down in the mag. Tapping downward on the lips lower the position of the bullets and narrow them. This image shows how there is only room enough for one bullet to feed so double feeds aren't an issue any more additionaly the frnt of the mag prevents the nose dive for there is no room to angle down.

Tomorrow I'm trying my new setup to see if it will work. I lost the dang firing pin block so I'm rolling the dice to see if the pin will be close enough to the rim.
