Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. Just a friendly reminder...registration will open on April 1st at 7:00 PM CST on Practiscore. The 2024 Badger Trekker Run and Gun will again be Labor Day weekend, Saturday, August 31st. Here is the link for our Practiscore club; there are separate registrations for the 5K and 10K at the link. https://practiscore.com/clubs/badger_trekker_run_n_gun More details on the event are listed on the registration pages and our event guide linked below. https://drive.google.com/.../19NEO5p9qVQhDcCuK3If.../view
  2. More gear from Safariland just arrived. I've taken the liberty of fingering one just a little bit. (G-rated fingering...mostly...) These belts are high-quality kit. Safariland has been extremely generous. Make sure to spend some money on their website. I most certainly will!
  3. ....aaaand support from Safariland continues to roll in. These bags are high-quality kit, and three competitors will snag one from the table. Thanks again Philip and Safariland!
  4. Safariland goodies arrived today. This is their first year sponsoring the Badger Trekker RnG. Thanks to Phillip and Safariland!
  5. Safariland has joined in the fray as a sponsor. I was issued a few different Safariland holsters in my 25 years, and based on personal experience, I trust their holsters to work as designed in dynamic circumstances, both on and off duty. When it came time to spend my own money for USPSA and Run-n-Gun holsters, I didn't look anywhere else. Thanks to Philip and Safariland.
  6. I am very happy to announce American Defense MFG is joining us again this year as a match sponsor. Alex Trevino, Tom Stewart and the whole team there are great people who make fantastic weapons and mounts. Even if you aren't blessed enough to be left handed you should check out their ambi rifles!
  7. Happy to announce the return of SwampFox Optics as a Match Sponsor. SwampFox is another one of those companies that have supported us from the very beginning. THANK YOU!
  8. The first BT RnG was an overwhelming success, so we're going to do it again. To see what we're all about, take a look at our 2023 FaceBook page, here. Think of Run-n-Gun as kind of the next step beyond USPSA, or IDPA, or 3-Gun, or..., or..., Competitors are required to carry a rifle and pistol through a 5K or 10K course, rain or shine, up and over or under obstacles, and engage targets from point-blank to 300 yards, possibly within the same stage, from uncomfortable shooting positions, while tired, physically exhausted, and possibly cold & wet. This is an "outlaw" event, and as such, 100% of the profits go to the Oconomowoc Sportsman's Club. Our 2023 FB page has awesome pics from two professional photographers and a ton of commentary. Our 2024 FB page is new and a lot of information is coming. Stay tuned to the 2024 page for information. Bravo Company has once again stepped up as a Match Sponsor. BCM has been a strong supporter of OSC for years now, and has supported The BT RnG since the beginning, so thanks to Paul, Troy, and the staff of BCM. They are also very strong supporters of the police, especially my former agency. I've been using BCM rifles exclusively for training and Run-n-Gun for over 15 years. Krate Tactical has jumped onboard again. I bought one of Mike's OTF knives at the 2023 Heartbreak Run-n-Gun in Kentucky and have been carrying it almost daily since then. It's lightweight and handy, and I'm very happy with it. Defense Mechanisms has signed on again as a partner. DM is based in Winona, MN, and they specialize in plate carriers, belts, insulated apparel, and pouches that are designed to meet the demands of military, law enforcement, and outdoor enthusiasts. Much of DM's gear is hand made in Winona, Minnesota. Thanks to Jesse and Staff at DM for supporting us for the second year in a row. Stay tuned as we have more on the way......
  9. The First Annual Badger Trekker Run-n-Gun was a huge success. To many people to thank individually, but you know who you are. Hit up our sponsors above. They made our prize table awesome. For now, take a look at the Badger Trekker FB page. https://www.facebook.com/event...ctive_tab=discussion AAR to follow next week, after the The Legion Memorial Run-n-Gun in Tennessee this weekend. https://www.facebook.com/event...ctive_tab=discussion
  10. Criterion Barrels has signed on: Full Metal Java is onboard. Several of The BT staff have been drinking FMJ coffee for months now, since we were introduced to tem at The Zombie Run-n-Gun last year. Their coffee is awesome: VC Optics is sponsoring, they are a local night vision company:
  11. We are FULL with a wait list!! I couldn't be happier nor more in awe of the support from the industry, our shooters, the club, and fellow RnG enthusiasts/MD's and RO's. Wait lists can go quickly, so if you're still interested get signed up on Practiscore ASAP. Al's Auto Salvage in Franklin has given us a stage car!! Make sure to give them a call for your salvage and used parts needs.
  12. A couple more sponsors have signed up. A big Thanks to Mantis Dry Fire Training. If you find yourself near Watertown, WI, (a few minutes down the road from the match,) stop in and see Alex & Josh at The Drafty Cellar Taphouse at 110 S. 3rd Street. Lots of local craft beers on tap and a nice friendly crowd. The owners are doing it right, and they've really got it going on. Hopefully we'll see them at the match. Very highly recommended!
  13. Continuing to add sponsors. The support from the industry leaves me in awe. If you don't already, consider our sponsors the next time you have money to spend: Krate Tactical just signed up. Mike is a small operation that supports the shooting sports in a big way; and has very nice OTF knives and steel targets:
  14. Registration is now open! Woo-hoo!! 5K: https://www.practiscore.com/2023-badger-trekker.../register 10K: https://www.practiscore.com/2023-badger-trekker.../register Get signed up quick, there's a limited number of spots. (No pressure!)
  15. A huge thanks go to: The Oconomowoc Sportsman's Club, for use of the range. Bravo Company BCM are big supporters of OSC in general, mucho thanks to Paul and his crew. Vortex for the donation of several RDS. Swampfox Optics for several RDS, LPVO's and a mount or two. Rapid Defense. Co-owner Andy is donating private training, and a ton of his time to help make the Badger Trekker a success. Krieger Barrels is getting in on the fun. Defense Mechanisms for three, high-dollar value gift cards. SafeSide, LLC is pitching in with the donation of ammo. Lynn is an 07 FFL and can make custom ammo for your guns. Forward Controls Design. If you are in need of high quality small parts for your AR or pistol, look no further. GoSports Outdoors for targets we will do our best to destroy. Three Goats Workshop can't stay away from the fun either. Tom is also an FFL and SOT. There are more on the way. Check out our FaceBook (I know...) page! Registration will be via PractiScore and will be open shortly.
