Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Thanks for some good replies I appreciate them. Does anyone know of any stores that have or stock Jp rifles in the Midwest. I live in Michigan.
  2. I am getting ready to order a new Jp ctr-02. I like to shoot 3 gun and have shot Ar's for several years, currently I have two RRA Ar-15's and I like them but I'm ready to order a Jp. Unfortunately you can't just go to your local gun dealer and look at them. But I think I have it narrrowed down to two configurations though, however I would like opinions from those who shoot them regularly. Either gun will have the low mass bolt with the silent capture spring and the 3.5lb enhanced trigger. The first option is a 18" medium contour barrel with a 15.5 modular hand guard and a magpul UBR stock. The second option is a 18" light contoured barrel with the 15.5 rapid configuration hand guard and the ACE-ARFX stock. I guess not having shot the Jp is there an advantage to a medium vs a light weight gun. I am a medium build guy and other than the obvious differences in weight, handling, barrel life, and feel does the low mass system with the silent capture spring absorb or change the ability to maintain a hold on a target that much to where a lightweight gun is a distinct advantage verses a medium weight setup?
  3. I have a Glock 34 and would like a Safariland holster, does the QLS system have holes that line up with the 5198 holster, and also are you using it on a drop leg system? if so which one?
  4. How about Rock River Arms they seem to make a nice Ar-15 in many different configurations. I know they are not top shelf but they don't seem bad.
  5. Thanks I called Ap directly before I saw your post and they confirmed that..
  6. Has anyone ordered the Ap Customs 4x4 or 3x3 with the ELS mount. Does it come with the ELS34 locking fork and the ELS35 receiver plate? Or do you get a caddie with nothing else and you have to order the mounts seperate? The Blade tech mount, that is an option, looks like it will work with any belt even the Safariland EL32, but if the mounts are included that would be a better system. But if you have to order the mounts seperate you might as well order the Blade tech option and take it off and potentially use it for something else.
  7. I know of a store that has one is stock if you are still looking.
  8. I haven't seen anything recently on the M2 by Salient. Most of the stuff posted on this site is about a year old. I have tried to contact them and only got an answering machine, and their website is down. Is their company having problems? Should I go with something else? I was all set to purchase one but now I'm not so sure? From the posts on this site it sounds like they make a nice M2.
  9. There is a few pictures and even an advertisement about a new competion ready Benelli M2 for 3 gun. Anyone have any additional info on it, or is it just plainly unobtainable?? I have tried a few local Benelli dealers and they have never heard of it. I have shown them pics of it and the pictures look great, and I would definately like to own one, but from what I have found out unless have Benelli on your shirt you will probably never touch one... I would rather have a Benelli instead of an F&N but is it possible to get one?
  10. Well it's almost Christmas, Benelli advertised a new 3 gun competition ready M2 shotgun for the fall....Does anyone think it will ever become available to the general public??
