I have a spare for Limited and Open and when I get back to SS and Production, I will have a spare that is similar or identical if possible. 99% of the time, it is not needed but once in a while, you will call on it.
IMHO, loading precision rifle is a whole different thing as compared to loading pistol. I have found that the single stage presses are better for that but it's a slow process.
I shoot open to get better and move up in class, once I achieve that goal, I will shift to Limited and get better and then move up in class, then it's back to Open again...
I have seen some folks at our club use the DAA PDR. It's lined inside. http://www.ceddaa.com/Holsters+%252526+Rigs/Holsters/DAA+PDR+Belt-Ride+Holster.html I would get that instead of a Bladetech.
I would try different powders to see what you like better. Some powders seem harsh in comparison. Try N350 starting at 8.0 gr, N105 starting at 10.2gr, IMR 4756 starting at 8.6gr, IMR 7625 and chrono
Always check under a bright light for hairline cracks. I had and did not notice it till it became a big crack and was wondering why the zero kept moving.
I sold my IOR 1.5-8 and not regretted it. I went with a 1-4 then a 1-6 scope and have not looked back. The IOR is an awesome scope but it is extremely heavy in comparison. I would move it to the AR10 and get something closer to 1x on the low end.
When you ship ammo when travelling to a match, can you also include magazines, belts etc in the same box? or do you ship ammo in it's own box marked with the ORM-D label? and put everything else in another box?
Brazos Pro SX with popple holes. vv N105 10.6 gr on zero 125jhp for 173 PF. FWIW I have found that the zero bullets range from 124.2gr on the low side to 125.5gr on the high side. Most fall in the 124.7-125.2gr side
