This just came about too late for me to plan for.

I am not shooting it this year, I am going to shoot more steel and ICORE stuff but there looks to be a huge revo turn out. With one HUGE SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is that who I think it is shooter revo? Is Todd Jarrett shooting REVO?

Just saw the trophies dang shame I can't win one. And even if I did live in Alabama I didn't see one for revolver. When will the shooters meeting be on Friday and when will we start shooting?

You could but why? All you need would be 6 moon clips. 5 to shoot the stages and one to reload with in case. But moon clips are cheap in the grand scheme of things even Hearthco's.

I hook my thumb over it. I don't really put any pressure on it. During recoil any pressure would be more downward.

"a different catagory of limited"??? Still considered limited just a special category. Is there a better way to explain it? You still shoot limited, I don't think they seperate recognize it in open I could be wrong.

The Smith 627's pretty much rule ICORE. They are 8 shot guns. A stock one with iron sights is a limited gun. You could shoot the same gun with dot (Cmore, OKO, Aimpoint.....) that puts you in open. Now if you shoot a 6 shot gun that puts you in a different catagory of limited but still limited. This is the quick version. The even more simple answer is buy a 8 shot Smith 627 some hearthco moon clips, holster, belt and North Mountian moon clip holder and you will be set up to shoot limited.

Holy Smokes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I reckon I am setting on a mint. No I would never sell primers for that much. Heck I will most likely never sell primers. Those I have hoarded will be used. Yes I said hoarded. I am part of the problem.

What kind of speed loader do you want? And why not moon clips Dillon has those rubber things with the finger loop on it. If I am not mistaken thats the only speedloader for 8 shot guns made.

Maybe more crimp. Maybe reduce the diameter of you flaring die so it is not expanding the id of the case but only giving you some flare.

If we have a low turn out (good possibility) you could shoot both guns . That way you will come away with two wins instead of one. Paul sure is good at this ICORE stuff. I am looking forward to this. It should be interesting trying it with a dot.
