  1. Hey Mark I think I am going to start shooting my revo in limited in steel so I can win ammo. Most of the time we don't have enough revo to get anything. However, if you look at my times won't be long and I will be winning overall for the match. That is my goal to do win overall with my revo.
  2. Don't know so much about Pinshooter but serving Cliff extra beer only makes him shoot better. You may do better by not allowing him to drink.
  3. I will be there. I may only shoot open but reshoot the classifiers with my limited gun.
  4. I would be more worried about underwear damage than dry wall. I was talking onmy cell when my last one happened. The person I was talking to was more scared than I was.

Ok I just saw where you live. Now you owe me for my post. You have to go to Burris' Farm market and send me THE LARGEST peach milk shake they will make and send it to me.
  6. My first Steel 22 was a Ruger 22/45. It is a great gun and I have not had one minutes problem with it. I am not picky about triggers on autos because I usually shoot revolvers so I can handle able anything with an auto. NOW however I am shooting a Smith 41 and may never go back to my Rugers. It is absolutely the nicest shooting 22 auto I have ever shot. Are they high dollar? Well maybe but you get what you pay for. I found mine for $575 with a 5 1/2" barrel. I lucked into a brand new 7 1/2 barrel with bomar rear for $125. It had never been fired. It dropped on and I have yet to touch it with a tool. It was zeroed dead on when I put it on.

Texas Stars. Oh boy. Cliff saw me the first time I ever attempted one. I say attempted because I ran out of ammo before it was finished. :-) Not pretty. NOW however I have shot them enough and practiced on one I don't care how the start or how they spin. I have practiced on them by starting them to spin when i reset the plates walk away until I am ready to shoot then start shooting them. I have purposefully shot plates off to get them off balance and spinning to practice cleaning up messes. I am not affraid to take any plate at any time. That said, I usually start on the top move to the right and pick a spot and hold there. I will sometimes start working my way down meeting the plates as they come up. Doing it this way More times than not 4 of the 5 plates on touching each other as the hit the ground. I still dont see the purpose in them or the need for them in practical shooting. Just my never to be humble opinion.
  8. I will be there. Will be my first time had to clear something from my schedual to be able to shoot more than one day. Can't wait. Is there a match hotel?
  9. Oh come on up i will go easy on you.
  10. Thanks guys. I did have a great match for sure. There has been a lot of hard work put into this.
  11. Dude I bounced my 625 off the cement floor once so hard the main spring came out of place and the Millett sightwas knock WAAAAAAAAAAAy over. I put it back together ran to the range rezeroed it and shot a match with it the next day.
  12. They jury is still out on whether or not I will shoot open in anything steel or ICORE but I am trying the FASTFIRE just because I like how low it can be mounted. I know Pinshooters C-more mount is low but I think the JP mount for the Fastfire, Doctor,Optima, ect is still a good bit lower. I tired it practicing on steel today and did OK a huge change for me though.
  13. You up for Augusta on the 21st?
  14. Will we see it in action next weekend? The 21st is the ICORE match right? The 3rd Saturday? Yes MY BAD , I GUESS I AM GETTING A LITTLE ANXIOUS. ICORE AT AUGUSTA/PINETUCKY IS MARCH 21 I ALSO MUST BE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE RED DOT / COMP GUN COMING OUT. US COUNTRY BOYS DON'T GET TO SEE MUCH HARDWARE LIKE THAT LOCALLY. It will be there. Should be interesting. You coming over for steel this weekend?
  15. Will we see it in action next weekend? The 21st is the ICORE match right? The 3rd Saturday? Yes
  16. LMAO Hey the front sight is still there I can go back to limited in about 3 minutes.
  17. Here is mine. Nothing really special but I still am not sure I want to shoot open.
  18. When I decided to shoot the ICORE Cup I started practicing on the D1 target shooting nothing but A's. I had only shot 2 other ICORE matches before that and had not done so well. I went to Miss. and was 8th in limited 14th over all. I had no misses. A few sloppy hits cost me points though. I did not shoot any slower i don't think just made myself get better hits. Now I have been practicing steel more than anything. I think the nextt ime I shoot ICORE I am going to be VERY pleased. My speed has increased but so has my accuracy.
  19. Got my Burris fastfire back and on my gun this week. Went out and shot it a good bit this morning in the rain and snow. So far so good no cracked lense. And shot it very well. Was shooting steel with it today (Round About) because it was the easiest to set up with the damn rain and snow. Running low to mid 2's with it. But then did some double tap runs on 4 plates I was double tapping the 4 corner plates in the low 3's
  20. http://www.twotandogs.com/ Do as Mark and Walter says. When you can pick up a ICORE gun. BUT you have a fine ICORE gun with you 586. Learn how to use COMPIII speed loaders and you will be hell.
  21. Yes you can shoot 38 and yes you can safely make major with 38 case's IN A GUN CHAMBERED FOR 357. You will be way out of 38 special pressures. But well below 357 pressure. The problem comes in at that level recoil is pretty sharp.
  22. OK all of these pics have give me the jones. I got my Burris back the other day but have not had time to get it back on the gun.
  23. I have considered getting some Hearthco short colt moons for my mdl 19's. I really believe I shoot them faster than my n frame guns. Around here I hardly EVER have another revolver shooter in USPSA. I think I will stay with my V-comp for ICORE though.
