Something I have wanted to do for a while is break 10 seconds in a match on Smoke and Hope with my iron sight revolver.
I finally did it this past weekend. 9.90.
Another goal has been to win overall at our monthly match with my revolver. I did that this weekend as well except it it was my limited score. I shot my revolver in limited and revolver. I crashed 5 to go in revolver killing my chances of winning overall with my revo score. Maybe next time.
This may be the wrong place to ask this question but I cant decide where else so here goes.
How long does it normally take to get a gun from Smith from the time you send in a winning certificate until you get the gun?
AND does anyone have a number to call and check the status on a gun?
Thanks
Stage 4 was chrono.
Greg did win revo overall. Congratulations Greg. He and I compared scores all day and we both knew it was going to be close. He got overall I won the championship.
The steel stage, stage 10 did me in. I had one I missed then hit it and it didn't fall so I had to hit it again.
That was a fun match.
Thanks to everyone who worked hard to put it on.
Well except for one RO.
I will be there to defend my title.
Lets see
I haven't practiced.
I haven't loaded.
I haven't cleaned my gun
The last time I shot my USPSA gun, it messed up.
I am as ready as I can be see ya'll Saturday
Yet another SUPER match put on down in Miss. Glen, Kathy, John, and everyone else that worked your butts off. A HUGE TIP OF THE CAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Thanks again.
It was a wonderful match.
You can do it.
I have shot a butt load from my Single Six and a Bearcat that has been rechambered to 22 mag. They wrok fine except the cases rupture. These guns have 22lr bores so accuracy is still fine. From your 48 your accuracy my not be there.
I now have a 22lr cylinder for these guns so i don't need to do it anymore.
To steal a post from Pinshooter.
I have not cleaned guns.
I have not loaded ammo.
I have not practiced.
I am as ready as I will ever be.
See you next weekend.
I can't wait
So about 9:45 last night I was looking in a storage room in the back of the house. The door to it goes to the outside.
Well I had given up the search for what I was looking for and turn to start putting things back up. As I did I looked at the door and saw a copperhead go past the door. I had my Glock 17 on my hip and drew it but could not get a shot. So I put everything back up and turned the light off as I walked out the door.
It was now pitch black. I tripped over a set of jumper cables. I ain't going to lie. That scared me most of all. I knew the thing had turned back and I was a had ass. :-)
I jumped a good 10 feet.
I went back around the and in the house and grabbed my Remington 870 with the Vang Comp barrel and some 2 3/4" mag turkey loads and a flash light and went back to find it. I got in behind it and give it one in the head. That ended it with ease.
