  1. 35766B and a #52 are the same o-ring. Online sources show it as ID 1 5/8 and OD 1 3/4. It's 1/16" thick. The AS568 number is AS568-030. Actual ID is given as 1.614" +/- .013" It's a faucet repair and camera battery door seal washer. If you search 35766B on Amazon you'll find them but if you and an Ace Hardware or Handyman Hardware or Menard's around you can probably find them locally.
  2. There are quite a few options for O rings on eBay as a last resort. Metric sizes are available in several thicknesses and diameters for a buck shipped from overseas. I don't know the shaft diameter but one a bit smaller ID wise would probably work. Edit: The bearing is .078" thick which is 1.98mm. The 2" ID is 50.79mm so I'm thinking a 49 or 50 millimeter ID by 1mm thick O ring would be darn near perfect. Opinions?
  3. Part number or dimensions of the O ring would be great!
  4. I'm pretty sure you Michigan types call them "shenanigans". I've seen you after a few Arnold Palmer's don't forget! LOL! If Mr. Drummond shows up Sunday morning we're just going to slide him on our squad. We already have Chris Keen. You may have Big Awesome, but we'd have Totally Awesome!
  5. I've never had any issues it in 9. I have no experience work any other caliber.
  6. Are they the standard or thick plated? The thick are good to go to 1500 FPS. Just don't over crimp them and cut the plating.
  7. Great job Chris! Looking forward to shooting with you at the West Penn Section match. See you in a couple weeks!
  8. EAA Witness guns used to be famous for this. They had quite long firing pins. The pin isn't fully retracted when the slide starts to cycle and the barrel is linking down. It's usually referred to as primer smear or wipe and the general consensus was that it won't hurt anything. The EAA guys used to trim the firing pins.
  9. WAP (Winchester Action Pistol) and Ramshot Silhouette are practically identical. So yea, it'll work.
  10. IMR 7625 will work under 115's. I found it a bit harsh but usable if needed. 8 grains made Major with some headroom. I think about the only suitable Alliant powder would be Blue Dot and a heaping case full didn't make Major under 115's. Eric, what's your 3N37 load?
  11. Commonly referred to as a ringer. It seems to happen more on brass that has been left in conditions suitable to some corrosion causing the primer to stick fast. The only total 100% solution is to deprime in a separate step and inspect the cases.
  12. Don't all 1050's (pistol caliber) come with the universal flaring funnel that's just a cone shape? With the swage backup rod doing the expanding and the cone doing the flare? My 9mm funnels have a letter stamped on them in the groove around them.
  13. The thick plated say 1500 FPS on the box, at least the 115 9mm do. My load runs about 1530 and so far no issues. They'll hit mini poppers at 35 yards all day out of my Schuemann barreled Open gun.
  14. EGW ones. They're oversized so you can properly fit them.
  15. I had one do it earlier. First time I tried I got an SQL error page so I hit the back button and "post" button again. Got an error that I could only post once every second but both posts were there.
  16. Fun match, rain and all! I looked at it as practice for those days your shooting a major in not the greatest weather. It's always harder, for me at least, to maintain focus on those days and this was a good test/practice for that. I think I did pretty good! I enjoyed the stages. They might not have been high round count but most of them had at least a few ways to shoot them and made you think. The Wayne County Crew rocks!

  18. Eric, what's your load? I have a couple pounds to burn up. Thanks!

They should also replace all the nuts. If they hammered them on that tight they probably destroyed the cones by pulling them down in too far. They won't torque properly if that happens because the nut will hit the rotor. You're a much more patient person than I am. This kind of stupidity is why I make them use an actual torque wrench and not torque sticks on an impact.
  20. It all revolves around powder choices. The most popular powders right now (In no particular order,N105, 3N38, 7625, 4756) all dang near fill a SC case. You can't get enough in a 9 case to even make major, much less the 172-175 that Open guns run best at... 3n38, 7625 and 4756 all easily make Major under 115's in a 9mm gun, at least both my full size guns. For example 9.65 grains of 3n38 goes a tick over 173 and 8 grains of 7625 is 172.5 PF. I haven't tried N105. You must have magical barrels! You sure your using 9 cases 124s and 4756 would not make major with my barrels. "For example 9.65 grains of 3n38 goes a tick over 173" and a bunch of ticks on the floor. I'll have to try 7625 with 115 as I just happen to have a LB of 7625. I have 4756 also. Game on! Just fill up the cases and use a level to smooth out the top right? So, what is your go-to load now? Still Sil? I didn't say it was easy to LOAD! With 3n38, yep pretty much just level it off. I think that's just about 9.8. Super flat but a pain to load. I burnt about 3 pounds out of a 4# jug and sold the rest. Damn nice to shoot though. 7625 leave just a tick of free space to start the bullet. 4756 is completely not practical but will get 170+ It's worse to load than 3n38 my friend! The Hoffman/McLearn has a Schuemann classic barrel and that one still runs on Sil primarily. The Akai I got last year has a SV and gets fed HS-6.

9.65 under a Zero 115 makes Major with room to spare at the chrono, but not much in the case. Like Larry said, loading it sucks... Been there, done that.
  23. I think Circleville has one the first Sunday in April. It's in the Columbus area. Not really ne Ohio but not too bad from Canton.
  24. I agree. There is no M in DVC.
