TWHaz
How many Open shooters adjust the dot intensity before shooting a stage? Please note your class as A reference of what class does or does not. I am M class and adjust mine to suit the type of targets in a stage. Also what size dot do you run? I run 8 moa for now. CJDOUBLETAP
B class. 6 MOA. I adjust mine like you do, depending on the targets. For harder-farther-smaller stuff I like to turn it down so that my dot is a clear circle. On the close-easy stuff I turn the dot up all the way so I can pick it up fast. JThompson
Depends on indoor or outdoor. I prefer a 4 in and a 6 out. M
McGunner
B class 8moa Depending on the type of day; If its bright and sunny and/or the suns at my back, full on. Any other time I turn it full on, than turn it down a smidge so its not a glaring bright dot... Matt
Flatland Shooter
I'm in "B" class using an 8 MOA dot. Indoors I like to turn down the dot to where I can just see through it to the targets. Helps if one or two targets are a little bit in the shadows. Outdoors I turn it up to the point where I can pick it up quickly but is not so bright it appears harsh and distracts me from looking at the targets. If its a real bright Texas day, its on full blast. Add a few clouds and its turned down a bit. Adjusted for each stage as needed. Bill
matt2ace
B-class......4 minute I adjust it for light conditions and sometimes for battery condition. A new battery generally does not need to be turned up all the way outdoors, unless the conditions are very bright sun.

boz1911
I adjust every time, usually on bright sunny days I start at full brightness and back down if needed. Indoors or overcast I adjust up until I get a starburst then back down one click. 8 moa dot, A open.
calishootr
A class 8 minute dot adjust for conditions, I dont normally like running it full on, the 'blazing halo' is a bit distracting, so i tone it down some...
CocoBolo
Outdoor daylight full on 8 Min Dot. C class Rookie. I had a 6 on one of my guns it was just too hard to see. an 8 is probably too big for anything over 25 yards but not many 50 yard shots these days.
