Micah
Mr. Newman lost his battle with cancer this morning. The Hustler, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Color of Money...all amazing movies, and his humanitarian efforts had a tremendous impact raising upwards of $220 million dollars for charities. Gameplayer
I had the pleasure of meeting Paul Newman on numerous occasions at the Indy 500. He was such a polite, soft-spoken individual who made you feel very comfortable to be around.

SiG Lady
A decent man who did a lot of positive things and had a decent, lovable reputation. He actually lived a rather long life, too, so it was not a premature passing, necessarily. Many people appreciated his talent and efforts.
M118LR
A GREAT actor. One of the better ones of our times. Cool Hand Luke, Towering Inferno, The Hustler and Color of Money some of my favorite Paul Newman movies. RIP Paul, you will be missed.
Neomet
A class act all the way, and very approachable. I met him at a race in '79. Just a regular guy with the most amazing looking eyes I ever saw.
Rob Boudrie
I wonder if the gun ban group "Cease Fire" will be recruiting another celebrity to replace the seat made vacant by Paul Newman's demise. He was a great actor, but certainly no friend to gun owners.
3GunF1Guy
A really great race car driver, and for me, will be known more for his racing than anything else. His wife Joanne Woodward hated him racing and if she had not fordid him frow driving more we would have seen what a great driver he was. TMC
My little brush with fame was standing next to him in the men's room at Sear Point in the 80's. No I didn't ask for an autograph, besides he didn't give them.

rishii
my niece works for a Paul Newman camp, and the work she and all the other employee's do, lets the camper be kids for a week. while it may sound like a simple thing to do, may of them have serious or terminal illnesses, and all year long they are patients, under a doctors care, but for a week they can just be kids. while Paul Newman will always be remembered as an actor, some will remember him as a race car driver, the work he's done with these camps will be his true legacy RIP
JThompson
From our group, it would be remiss not to mention, "The Left Handed Gun."
