Rob5r
I'm looking for a 135 power factor load for my 5.5" bbl GMR-15. I see the most popular bullet weight from the 2021 USPSA World Championship was 124/125gr. A lot of people are telling me that coated bullets will foul the comp pretty fast. But that's not an issue for me. I have my sights on a 125gr Blue Bullet, OAL 1.014 and Tite Group. Need to be legal for IDPA. Edited June 7, 2023 by Rob5r Link to comment
RangerTrace
Fast powder will work the same in your 5.5" barrel GMR as a 5.5" pistol. Tight Group will work fine. I was using 4.2 grains of N320. I think 4 grains of TG would be a good place to start. Link to comment
stick
I have 2 short barrel PCC's 5" Taccom barrels and a 13" Taccom. I run 124gr plated bullets from Everglades ammo with 3.3gr of Titegroup with a 1.10 OAL. I don't recall the PF, but it functions well in all my guns, not just my PCC's. Link to comment
Sinister4
124 PD with 4-4.1 N320 shoots perfect pcc or handgun Link to comment
Wanna_Go_Fast
Im running 124 gr Xtreme CMJs over 3.5 gr of titegroup. I'm running a 16" JP barrel however. Link to comment
ryan45kim
4grs of sport pistol, 124-125 bullet, normally 1040fps in my 5.5 taccom barrel Link to comment
Matt1911
I’ve been running the Taccom 5” with shroud using BBI coated bullets for a couple years now and still have never cleaned the shroud/comp. The inside of the shroud has a very thin layer of fouling, but nothing has gunked up. Link to comment
seako_916
147g FMJ 3.0g Titegroup 1.1" OAL made 140 PF on my Taccom ULW-B barrel: 5.25" barrel with shroud. Funny enough - Same load makes same PF with coated bullets out of my new JP-5. Link to comment
mitommy
I run a Taccom ULW 5.5” barrel I use either Berry’s or Extreme plated bullets, 3.9gr of TiteGroup, 1.110 OAL Link to comment
bigdawgbeav
Take this for what it's worth as I load for Steel Challenge and don't need to make PF. In my load testing and development over the years I found the following: The PC Bullet (RNFP) is a poly-coated and the Everglades (RN) is plated. I know it's not as popular but Clays is really soft shooting and the 147gr. gets me to minor with no pressure spikes or anything. My AR-V has the Taccom XLW barrel so the effective rifling is 5.25" which is the same as my Canik TP9 SFx. Link to comment
mixedbytheak
I shoot Federal Syntech Action Pistol out of my CMMG Banshee with a 5 inch barrel. Never had an issue. Link to comment

Frankl03
For my pccs &pistols, I use 4.2 Gr Tight group over a 124 gr Everglades plated bullet. Works great in Pistols and carbines. Link to comment
