  1. Yeah that’s why others are getting better capacity. You are playing the game with stock parts, others are swapping things out to get race cars.
  2. I would guess it has to do with the followers and springs that are used.
  3. Completely agree. I’ve been using a Ruger MKIII 22/45 for 8+ years now and it’s far more reliable than the guys who bring 1911/2011 .22 guns. CCI mini mags for first thousand rounds or so to start and it’ll work in to be reliable on bulk box ammo. I use Federal auto match with great results.
  4. I didn’t know Pringles chip dust was a good alternative for gunpowder.
  5. I use the dot and 8moa circle. It’s been awesome and that window is huge.
  6. No way I’d ever pay that much for a Gucci Glock.
  7. No. The mounts keep the can on pretty solid, and there’s no need to thread lock the brake/flash hider. Just torque it down to 25-30 ft lbs.
  8. If you plan to move the suppressor around to different rifles, go with a QD mount. The Silencerco ASR mount and the Dead Air key mount are very nice options if you plan to switch from whatever comes with the suppressor you purchased. Just know it can get expensive very quickly with the mount plus all the muzzle devices to put on each host, so do your research before opening your wallet. If you decide to go with QD mounts using muzzle brakes don’t use crush washers if it needs to be timed. Use peel washers.
  9. Yeah there’s gotta be a defect somewhere.
  10. I’ve had mags with extensions work well for 5 or so years of repeated use with the same spring before they start to get weak enough to have to stretch and need replaced. I try to stay in the habit of changing them all out every 2 years though just for added insurance.
  11. That looks awesome. I’d love for a match like that to show up in my area.
  12. Or maybe he’s brand new to forums and doesn’t know all the cool gadgets to use like the search function. He at least had an actual question instead of a bunch of “that’s cool” “sweet”, “I have that same gun” etc…. That most of the classified seekers do.
  13. Lee U sizing die, the rest are Hornady loaded on a Hornady LNL AP
  14. It’s happening all over the country.
  15. Whew… I was worried it was going to be one of those videos where somebody is still down range.
  16. Awesome, thanks for the reply. I have over 2k through my rifle already so it’s broken in. Just recently had to replace the extractor because I rounded it out. I’m going to get in a few more rounds tomorrow for practice at different ranges and try to give myself an edge.
  17. My local range has just started introducing NRL22 and this is exactly what I have but with a Bushnell Match pro scope. How has this setup been doing? I’ve already done some ammo testing so I plan to join the next match and see how I do.
  18. Striker fired guns still have a trigger safety, like the dingus on a Glock or hinge on M&P
  19. Yeah. It’s just like running a 2011 with the hammer back, safety on.
  20. I’ve done that to shoot in limited.
  21. I’ve never seen one like that. I would have to dig into the rule book.
  22. Yes the mag release on the M&P is reversible and the slide stop levers are on both sides. The new M&P metal spec series sounds like it checks all your boxes.
