Bdh821
Where does this fit in USPSA?!? Sig is innovative to produce such products!
RangerTrace
Straight up open because of the comp.
Rich406
pretty much nowhere other than open. I could see people using it in 3 gun though
Bdh821
Seems like USPSA added in some verbiage to basically make it only an open gun. USPSA definition of compensator "A device fitted to the muzzle end of a barrel to counter muzzle rise (usually by externally diverting escaping gasses)." All: Correct me if I'm wrong, but after looking at the video twice it appears there IS NOT an actual comp fitted to the barrel. Looks like a couple of ports in the top of the slide that could be either aesthetics or something that is actually venting some of the gases coming from the barrel since it has a barrel (3.9") that is shorter than the slide! And I don't see any actual ports in the top of the barrel. Can't remember seeing this type of application before................
ddc
IDPA just released a new rule set that makes this guns ported in this fashion legal for ESP and CO. Apparently barrels with ports are the new hotness.
X5SigChris
To me, sig is pretty spot on with releasing something for the public rather than for sport. Regardless, loos like it would be fun to shoot. It’s like a big boy macro
m700
Its not really a true comp, supposedly they are trying to get it into limited. The barrel ends and is not connected to the comp. The comp cuts are in the slide itself.

m700
And from what i've read you only get a little advantage with that 10% or so 12 hours ago, terrydoc said: Same "system" as the 365 X-macro
cheby
I wonder how much difference it makes in recoil.

I asked Troy about the macro which uses the same technology and he said it's not CO eligible.

mveto
I know one of the current USPSA rules updates they are asking for feedback on specifically addresses the slides with comps built it to clarify it as a comp.
