any USPSA rule changes/discussions for CO or SA/DA

Curious if there were equipment discussions about changing anything in CO when updating the rules - Like adding a mag well?

How about for the CZ shooters in CO or production having to use SA/DA?

Did these topics even come up?

Nobody cares about magwells in carry optics

Why would you think that?  It gets asked about a lot.

happened last year no second, this year no second, I think that means they (Mike Foley) doesn't like the idea, probably don't want 2011s in Carry Optics.

They want to keep as many manufactures in the divisions as they can, allowing single action would mean a lot of people milling their 2011s and shooting them in CO.

SAO does not belong in CO nor in Production.

Agreed.  The intent of Production and CO is so that anyone that has a COTS gun can run it and theoretically be competitive.  Anyone that shoots these divisions knows that that’s not the case but nevertheless, USPSA has already allowed these divisions to creep into highly modified divisions, a magwell would just be going too far.

Who knows because the rank and file aren't asked their opinion. So unless you're friends with an Area director or BOD member you have no idea what is being thought of and discussed.

It might be nice if members were given an easy method to provide suggestions for rule change consideration.  Maybe an online questionnaire done once or twice a year that would permit the members and the BOD to see what the most pressing issues are from the members perspective.  USPSA could do a breakdown on it like they do for equipment at the Nationals and present it in the magazine for members to digest.  They could also provide a BOD perspective on the suggested rule change modifications.  Like why it will never fly or if it has merit and will take under advisement.

The OP's question about discussion at the last BOD meeting has been answered. If you have suggestions about how USPSA should do business, get in touch with your section coordinator and/or area director. But most important, get your fellow shooters to do the same. With a typical 20% election turnout, there is no strong motivation to listen. Thread closed.
