ArrDave
http://hsbullets.com/products/9mm-125gr-rn-356-diameter-3500-count Seems like a pretty good deal, looks like a pretty good profile. I don't know of anybody who shoots them so I am seeing if any of you guys are out there. What does it plunk/spin at, particularly in CZ's if anybody's out there with em. Acceptable quality on the level with Bayou, Acme, SNS, etc?
regpark
i haven't heard of them but they're most likely more of the same. I see black coating in their photos but only see red to choose..... much prefer black!
Leadpilot
I really like these bullets. I can't give you any plunk and spin data because my CZ barrels are reamed, but his 125/147 profiles are different than the other brands. The accuracy, prices, and shipping times have been excellent. Majja
I have friends that have been shooting them in both 9mm and 40 and love them. I just picked up 500 in 40's to try.
HDGoose
I've been running H&S 180's in my 2011 for a year now and have been very happy with them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
ArrDave
Thanks for that Acme comparisson, I was hoping for something that I could load a little bit longer that would feed a little easier in my CZ's. I load the acmes so short that they hit on the feed ramp pretty hard, sometimes when hand cycling the slide will pause before going into battery. I had a couple unloaded starts at my last match and i was nervous that it'd stall going into battery.
MemphisMechanic
Have you considered having the barrel reamed to take ammo out to a longer length? Grams Engineering will do it for $29 round trip total cost.
ArrDave
yeah I have, half my guns are ream, the other 2 I'm considering reaming. A buddy loads ammo commercially so I will probably keep one stock just so he can test ammo for chambering.
mchapman
I have used and had good results with the H&S bullets, I use the 147 gr. TC;d bullet have used around 8000 of them with no issues.
glock34shooter
I have loaded a few thousand of them. I like them. They seem to be consistent with their coating. They load well and shoot well. Matt
bigboredad
I have several friends I shoot with that have used his bullets from 9 up 45 and his 44 they all have been pleased and since he is local they just pick up at his house. He is s stay at home dad because his son is a spec needs kid and doing bullets out of his garage allows him time to be with his son. Everyone says he's a great guy and will talk you to death if you let him. I'd say buy with confidence.
fireman1776
I picked some of these up recently. I haven't had a chance to shoot them yet as I'm finishing up some bayous right now. I ordered around noon and had shipping notification within a couple hours and received them two days later. His prices are already low and with free shipping it was a no brainer. I will be trying these with TG.
ArrDave
Update, ordered a case. I've not loaded any yet, but measured and weighed 10 of the 125 RN projectiles. They are remarkably consistent. The length is most consistent I've seen .580 to .5825. Diameter is mostly .356 with some at 3.555. Weight varies between 124.5 to 126.4 - pretty good for cast. Only 2 of 10 were below 125. Coating appears consistent. Very very consistent projectiles. Pretty impressive, actually. Bamboo
" Diameter is mostly .356 with some at 3.555." (I know it is a typo....it would be cool having a 90mm hand cannon, though! )

fireman1776
I like the coating on these better than the bayou. It doesn't leave my hand/glove red like the bayous. I'm hoping to fire them this weekend. Of course that will be the ultimate test.

In my experience TG and Prima V have very comparable burn rates.
