ParaGunner
Don't know the stock weight, but I use a 19lbs mainspring.
TheSandMan491
I'm with para gunner...don't know stock weight but 17lb is the sweet spot for my STIs
JD45
I don't know that particular gun, but a stock 1911 was always 23lbs. I use a 19 but a lot of people go lower with no issues.
Bassman
I run a 15lb. on my SV with no issues.

427Cobra
19 pounder in mine
wgj3
Agree that stock is most likely in the 22-23# range. And, most "tuned" guns are running 19# or lighter.
zzt
I've run 18 and 19 with SS firing pin with no problems. Trigger pull is 2.25lbs. They are too light to work with a Ti firing pin.
tomjerry1
Well, finally got a reply from RIA, 18#, so think I'm going to try a 17# spring.
36873687
17lb but going to try a
robertg5322
17 in four guns (Kimber, Springfield, Les Baer and Caspian High Cap) all work great. I will say that I have ISMI and Wolff and what one thinks is 17 lbs, the other doesn't (can't remember which is heavier, just know that one is heavier than the other). Not a big deal, but something to consider.
tomjerry1
will probably use a Wolff, just because that's what I've always used.
