Gooldylocks
I just ordered some to see for myself the cost savings - accuracy debate For these calculations, cases are priced at $30/k (or less) for 9mm (once-fired, or less if you use them several times) and $30 for 38SC (here's how: buy them at $150/k, shoot them 5x in practice, now worth $30 per thousand shots fired (o What if your 9mm brass is free, since you just pick it up at the range? teros135
Then you'd reduce the per-thousand cost accrdingly. Considering the internal pressures of 9 major, though, I don't just grab everybody's leftover brass off the range. I know some do, but I'm not going to risk it just to save $.03 a round. Actually, it's less than $.03 a round. I'll use my 9mm cases 5-6 times, if I know where they came from. Edited June 28, 2016 by teros135
1911A12011
I used Montana Gold for major matches and use other brands for practice. I find Montana Gold very accurate.
echotango
"Not sure on exact pricing but it goes down at 8 and 20k." Any idea what PD discounts would be? Edited July 15, 2016 by echotango
Shmella
At 20,000 it goes to 87 per 1k i believe for 124jhp. No discount at 8000 I called a week ago after I read that post in this thread.

lvipscshooter
I like both. I run MG 121's in my open gun. For 124's I use PD. If PD made 121's, I would use nothing but

Mark Meyers
I've bought MG for several years now. Next time I might try the PD.
echotango
Just finished chrono'ing MG & PD. With the same load (4 diff charges), the MG were always slightly faster. ~10-20fps.

echotango
I thought the PD would be faster as they are softer. Accuracy was pretty much the same with both.

zombywoof
I'm having good results with PD 124 JHP in my STI GM.
jrn1975
Over the past year and a half I have used 32k 124gn PDs in both my production gun and open gun with great results with no plans to change. As long as you buy 2k at a time, the value is great for the quality that you are getting.
Big Guy
I tried them, liked them, and will be shooting them from now on. Just ordered 2K more.
