A friend was telling me about this. Apparently they have a gas operated 9mm using Glock mags for $1200. Does anyone have any experience with these?

I'm a believer! Just received my short stroke bolt. and added it to my delayed buffer system. Results were awesome. Seems like the shorter stroke of the bolt smoothes out some of the snap of the buffer system. The dot barely quivers shooting splits as fast as I can. Thanks Tim for a great product.

Forgot to mention there's one small issue when using FM lower with Taccom. There is a small "hook" on the lower that activates their bolt hold open. It touches a corner of the feed ramp on Taccom barrel. Easy fix is to take dremel and cut off hook. I don't use BHO, so it wasn't an issue for me. Other option is to relieve corner of feed ramp. If you're not comfortable with these, any quality lower will do. Possibly QC10? Also highly recommend hiperfire trigger and Holosun optic.

I used a foxtrot Mike lower with Taccom complete upper using their extreme feed 14.5 barrel. Also used taccom 3 stage buffer. Added a hiperfire trigger. This thing hasn't had a single malfunction with approx 1500 rounds fired. I'd put it up against any other gun out there. One note, Taccom will be releasing a delayed blowback buffer system shortly. It sounds like it's worth waiting for.

I'm new to pcc and when watching YouTube videos, I noticed that most shooters carry the gun with the muzzle down when running between arrays. For some reason, I naturally hold the gun with muzzle up when moving. Is this something I need to work on or does it matter? What's the advantage of muzzle down?

I have their billet lower. It's well made and I've had zero issues. There's a lot of YouTube videos showing FM products. I've not seen any complaints and their customer support is supposed to be outstanding.

When I recently bought the Taccom buffer system it came with an optional short stroke spacer. It is just a Delron spacer with no spring. Taccom also offers a short stroke spacer with a wave spring. Is there much difference between the two?

Same here, I went with plan B. Took 2 minutes.

Unfortunately, it doesn't. I spoke to FM on the phone. If you pull back on the bolt release button to raise up the bolt stop and then look at the bolt stop from the right side of the gun, you will see a hole with a small set screw. I'm told that there is actually 2 screws, one on top of the other, as one locks in the other? They said once screws are removed I should be able to remove LRBHO. One other problem. Screw is loctited and can strip if forced. They suggested heating bolt stop with torch to soften loctited. I'm not excited about taking torch to my lower. I tried holding a hot soldering iron to bolt lock but no luck. I'm deciding if I want to try the torch. Plan B is the dremil with cutting wheel.

Trying to add Taccom extreme feed upper to fm9 lower. The activator on LRBHO comes in contact with feed ramp on barrel. Fm9 has video where LRBHO is removed by just pulling it off with no tools. You just pull on bolt release button. This isn't working for me. I've emailed foxtrot mike but was hoping someone here could help. Thanks in advance.

A word of warning. You will have to remove the activator for LRBHO as it hits part of the feed ramp on barrel

Did you put in the taccom buffer system also? Curious how it felt

Looks identical to the one I'm building. same upper (extreme feed 14.5") same stock (MFT Minimalist) same trigger (hiperfire) same optic. Only difference is lower. I have an FM 9. Can't wait

I put plus 5/6 extensions on my 17 round mags but can only get 22 rounds in (9mm). Is there a different follower or something else needed? I'd like to get that additional round.

Can you explain shimming out pretravel?

How much of an improvement is there in the first shot with the CGW kit?
