selecw
I'm thinking RN 124 or 135gr for the best feeding. Is there a better choice?
limited shtr
115 gr Montana gold jhp are the best best shooting and feeding bullets I've ever shot out of my two open guns
echotango
I also shoot 115gr mg jhp. Never have had a feeding issue. Edited August 17, 2015 by echotango
Doc10mm
Shooting 124 gr jhp Montana gold. No problemo
Bkreutz
I use 124 RN plated shooting 9 major, no complaints.
selecw
Aren't the Montana Gold super expensive? I shoot about 500 rounds a week and am not sure I can afford them in that quantity
orangeman711
I'm with Doc10mm. 124's in my 9maj and 115's in my 38SC. Both MGJHP's.
Foxbat
Aren't the Montana Gold super expensive? I shoot about 500 rounds a week and am not sure I can afford them in that quantity About 10 cents ea. Next step down would be the Precision Delta, very close in quality, about 1 cent less. These two are pretty much interchangeable. From there you go to plated or coated, both of which I don't like as much.
mikedio
I just bought a case of Montana Gold 9mm 124 grain JHP, 3,750 bullets for $360, shipped. That is 9.6 cents apiece.
D__
Nosler 124 jhp. Extremely expensive but the best I found out of my Millenium open gun.

kneelingatlas
I'm thinking RN 124 or 135gr for the best feeding. Is there a better choice? You're asking for your 9mm Gold Team right? Unless you ream the throat you'll have to load pretty short with JHP, so I agree RN will be better for you, and given all the holes 135s may actually work nicely for you. I have some load data, which powders do you have.
selecw
Right - the 9mm GT. Thanks! I'm starting with HS-6.. Edited August 17, 2015 by selecw
selecw
9.6 cents / round is pretty good. My Bayou coated are 7 cents for 9mm.
fmj3
Precision Delta 115 JHPs are 8.5 cents each delivered if you buy at least 2000. That's about as cheap as plated and they work as well as Montana Golds for me - the MGs are only about 9.1 cents each delivered if you buy a case. BeerBaron
For the 9mm gold team if it's a v12 I'd suggest 124gn rn or jhp or 135gn rn. They bleed so much gas that getting 115s up to factor might limit the variety of powders you can use.
blueeyedme
I run Montana Gold 121gr IFP and my last case of $350 delivered for 3800 @9.2 cents each. Which by the way is $15 less per case than last year.
BallisticianX
My Tanfo V12 likes 124 gr Zero FMJ. The best powder I tested was HS-6 and 8.4 gr makes 170 pf. Its also lethally accurate. OAL is 1.140" and thats as long as my barrel will take.

From the Manufacurer's: Montana Gold - 9 mm, 124g HP: http://montanagoldbullet.com/index.php/9mm-124gr-jhp-152.html 3,750 bullets @ $360/case = $0.096 per bullet Precision Delta - 9 mm, 124g HP: http://precisiondelta.com/index.php/products/bullet/9mm/bullets-9mm-124-jhp.html 1,000 bullets/case @ $117/case = $0.117 per bullet Xtreme Bullets - 9 mm, 124g HP: http://www.xtremebullets.com/9mm-124-HP-p/xc9mm-124hp-b0500.htm 500 bullets/case @ $46.48/case = $0.093 per bullet It seems for three tenths of a cent ( $0.003 = 0.096 - 0.093) that MG HP are the way to go. Just my $0.02.
