FireShooter
What type of birdshot are the pros running at the 3 gun nation events? What are y'alls thoughts on running the Winchester AA featherlite? 1oz at 1000fps? Buddy2
They will be fine for clays and most steel. You may need a little heaver load for steel at a distance.
Flim-Flam Man
Unless you have proven to yourself otherwise, they may also will not cycle an autoloader reliably.....
openclassterror
No inertia guns run on these. Some gas guns will, but you need to try them to make sure. Also agree that energy will be marginal on some of the longer steel, but I am not in the pro series, so I can't tell you what they shoot
shakman
I accidentally bought a box of these my last trip to Academy (a box got mixed in with the Super Sporting Clay.) My M2 hung up about every 3rd shot with these. There's just not enough push in them to cycle the action reliably.
AustinWolv
Plan on 1145fps, 1-1/8oz as the minimum. Many will go with 1200+fps, 1-1/8oz for big matches to ensure reliable running. Edited February 19, 2015 by AustinWolv
GunCat
What gun are you shooting? Me and my M2 think like AustinWolv (see above)
CJW
I run the AA Light Target Loads at 1145fps in my M2. I wouldn't go any lighter than that, personally.
AustinWolv
I run the AA Light Target Loads at 1145fps in my M2 Same here. Ran Federals at same 2.75dr and 1-1/8oz as the AA this past weekend; they ran flawless also.

kurtm
Hmmm....your going to need at least 1 1/8 ounce of lead at 1146 F.P.S with a sub standard build like that.

kurtm
Hahahahaha, I'm pretty sure that the orriginal Benelli master built mine. All these guys like Benny, Mike, and Taran had to learn it from someone. I'm told he is still around and even posts on here on occasion. BTW.... Mike is a great amigo of mine.....thats why I said you only need 1 foot per second more than a well built gun.....hmm.....might just have been messing with Mike. FireShooter
Range Report: The Winchester Featherlites would not cycle the M2. The softest shooting shells that would cycle reliable were the Federal Top Gun #8, 7/8 oz, 2.75 DRAM. The Rios were a close second, however there was more recoil impulse with the 1 1/8 oz shot. Willz
I'm going to try some Fiocchi target at 1170fps and 1oz shot in my TTI M2 this week. I pretty confident it will cycle.
kurtm
Those shells will cycle great....right up until the time they don't.....which is usual sometime after the load and make ready at any major match! Tom over at M.O.A. had a great little post on what it takes to run an inertia system. It should be pinned to the top of any thread that deals with inertia guns. Several really good gunsmiths and Benelli guys have already chimed in here as to what it takes to be reliable in an inertia system, but I hope your's is the exception to the rule

Willz
Thanks, good read. I guess I'll find out. If these Fiocchi will work. They are not the lightest Fiocchi loads.
