Nemo
Last night's MailCall hosted people from Glock USA showing off their G18. Gunny Ermey was all excited about the lil' machine pistol. He also showed David S. drilling some cardboard and showing us mortals how to do a mag change. J-Go (the Anna Kournikova of IPSC ) and Sharon Z also had cameos in the show. It's great to see practical shooters getting exposure in educational teevee! Good job History Channel! ps: J-Go... what a smile!!

rtr
In case you missed it like me, someone on Glocktalk has posted the video. http://files.chevrofreak.com/videos/mail%2...k%20Segment.wmv
eric nielsen
Had the good fortune to speak with Miss J. Goloski about 3 or 4 times. She is just as she appears - one of the sweetest people ever. No down side whatsoever. Thanks to whoever provided the History Channel video link. Full auto Glock sounds fun to me. Duane Thomas
I've shot it. It's not as fun as it sounds.
uscbigdawg
Full auto Glock sounds fun to me. Shot it a couple of years ago ('98) during the Area 1 in Reno. Pretty sweet. Rich
SkyRock
I've shot it. It's not as fun as it sounds. I agree, but if the opportunity presents itself, go for it. This type of activity isn't usually available to us non-LEO/militiary types. And if possible, use tracers. Mike
short_round
In case you missed it like me, someone on Glocktalk has posted the video.http://files.chevrofreak.com/videos/mail%2...k%20Segment.wmv I spoke with a buddy of mine about this yesterday. He told me that he and his wife saw Dave Sevigney on Mail Call. Apparently his wife asked "can people really shoot that fast?" It made me smile. I've never really considered what we do as "weekend warrioring."
texasag93
Just saw a replay of the episode. Pretty cool. I have shot the G18. Even with the comped barrel it isn't exactly what I call controlable. Practice would help I am sure. As for David S., wish my G35 would shoot that fast. Vince Pinto
Hi guys, The real test of skill with a G18 is whether or not you can repeatedly fire 3 round bursts with finger control, and the best I've ever seen is Chris Edwards of Glock in Smyrna. JD45
Dang it, I'm still trying to catch the repeat. I've watched 2 late night Mail Calls this week and neither one was this episode. I wish I could find out when it will run again.
Sam
Sorry, JD! I just watched it about an hour ago. It was good to see a guy pop a reload that quick with a Production rig. Inspiring! The History Channel has a web site that may list the next show times.
LGator
That was one kickazz episode of mail call. It was cool to see most of Team Glock, but a few seconds of TGO would have been nice to round it all out. I know one has become grossly apparent to me and that is that I am glad that I am not the cameraman for the History Channel when they are doing gun shows. Hell, not just the camera guy but everyone seems to be muzzle swept excessively. Duck and cover I guess. -LG
mcoliver
JD, do you have DSL? If so, the same site on the link provided here also has the full coverage.
TriggerT
Glad they showec this one again last night, since I missed it the first time. Some of Sevigny's reloads they showed were really good, and it was a nice little plug for USPSA. Wish they would have included the USPSA website, but what can you do. JD45
Finally saw it last night. Good show. Where was the hottie ( J. Go?)? The clips were fast, but I usually can spot cuties at a rate equivilent to a .09sec. split.
ima45dv8
I downloaded the video clip a couple of days ago, but just got around to watching it. The first few clips showing Dave and Julie were from this years' Georgia State Match. That's me RO'ing Julie through stage 1, "In The Backyard". Another BE-er, Hobbes, is just behind me running the clipboard. I was watching it and started thinking, "Hmmm, those guys looks sort of familiar....." ...Mark
