gmg
Hello guys, I just received a CZ TS from burningsquirrels hoping to get into limited. What I would like to know from any of you guys running a TS in Limited is what kind of equipment (holster, mags, etc)that you are using. I have no idea what kind of holster to use. Maybe I can find a used WSM holster to use. Thanks for your responses. P.S. I searched and couldn't find anything
burningsquirrels
CR Speed versa pouches, and I had a WSM-II. maybe you can post a WTB ad for one of those CR speed rigs they give away at matches. $250 value comes with a belt, WSM holster, and 3 versa pouches. Offer $175, I bet someone will sel it.
pivoproseem
I use a Bladetech drop and offset because I don't like locks on holsters and it's very secure. I made my own mag pouches.
StevenR
blade tech doh and wsm 2 have both worked well. definitely want to get the basepad extensions for a couple of your mags. I am using cr speed mag pouches x 4 on the cr speed belt.
redbird1976
I use the same set up as Burning Squirrels: CR Speed pouches and belt and WSM II.
Middle Man
I started out shooting Limited with a CZ TS. It was great to run hot factory ball through the TS back in the days before I owned a Dillon 650. Blade Tech & CR Speed pouches on a CR or DAA belt. I preferred the Taylor Freelance basepads, but the CZ Custom basepad was satisfactory. I successfully ran some Grams spring kits back in my mags back in the day...the details are somewhere in the forms back in 2006 or so. Also, run the steel guide rod from CZ Custom (if your pistol doesn't already have one), it certainly improves the reliability.
gmg
I am trying to find a used WSMII that will fit within my budget. If not I may go with the Blade-tech ICE holster that has the front cut out. Mag pouches may be from Center of Mass. They are rotaters that are very well made. I already have a DAA belt but it seems wider than the CR speed belts.
burningsquirrels
The DAA belt is slightly larger than the CR Speed stuff. They do it intentionally so everything fits extra tight and rigid on the belt.
gmg
Yea I figured that out when i bought one and my CR speed mag pouches would not go on the belt. Needless to say I was pissed.
burningsquirrels
did you ever get them on? it takes quite a bit, but it actually works pretty good that way. i think the DAAs are stiffer than the CRS belts...
kitestir
I run a CR holster, Ghost mag pouches(because I am goofy and like my mags pointing out and they are cheaper then most. They come with 2 cups, 1 pointing out and 1 normal. They run around $23 each) and have both Taylor and CZ custom base pads. I prefer the CZ custom bases because they do not require tools to take them apart. I use grams springs and followers. He has CZ TS springs/followers but they are not listed on his site. Just give him a call and order over the phone. They work perfectly! Edited August 10, 2012 by kitestir
kitestir
OOOOHHH by the way.... I bought this one from Burningsquirrels a couple of years ago! It didn't look like this when I got it though-LOL. It was stock. How many CZ's do you have Burningsquirrels????
Stuck in C
When I was trying to use my CZ IPSC Standard (earlier version of the TS) in limited I used CR Speed belt and mag pouches and a WSM holster. I also have a Bladetech holster. I wasn't any faster with the WSM so I switched to the Bladetech (much more secure) just before I gave up trying to make the CZ run. burningsquirrels
what did you do for a coating on that thing? i tried rattlecan krylon on one, it worked pretty good.
kitestir
It is Atronite. I had Bobby at freedom gunworks do it after he did the mill work. It is an awesome finish!

kitestir
If I remember correctly the finish was $150 with the gun completely dissasembled. He charges a bit more if he has to take apart.
dskinsler83
Yes black is the only color and he has been doing other things cause antranite is backing him up but he may still do it give him a holla

Neomet
Minimal. Took me maybe 10 min. There is a vid around somewhere on the net. If I can find it I'll hook you up.
