Nemo
Have to admit that not many people enjoy "The Princess Bride"... But Francisco (youngest son, 11) and I watch it every time we have a chance.

kevin c
Silverado. I just love it when Scott Glenn rips the bandage off his head and buckles on his gun belt. It's just perfect seeing Danny Glover with a Henry in each fist. Talk about righteous... It doesn't get much better.
ima45dv8
I usually rail against the "horror" flicks, but I loved "Lake Placid". Funny as hell, and...well....there was Bridget Fonda.

Nik Habicht
Punch Drunk Love. Is that the movie with Adam Sandler? I can't decide if that was the worst movie I have seen, or something else. I vote for something else! Carol absolutely, positively hated it --- fith a ferocity unmatched until Kill Bill came along; I thought it was fascinating. It also suggested that Sandler may not be a one-note actor.....

Sam
"The Gods Must Be Crazy" I can't help it. If it's on, I have to stay up and watch it. Maybe 'cuz that guy's land rover is so much like my pick-up. Wife says I have very strange taste in movies. Of course she never liked any of the flicks on Mystery Science Theater. Go figure. Of course it wasn't about the movies, the robots just said what you were already thinking.

uscbigdawg
Revenge of the Nerds Now really. Is anyone suprised? Still waiting for someone to say "Best of the Best".... Brian - Holy crap dude. I totally fell off my chair on that one. Who was the psycho-therapist girl? Looks like a porn star but can't remember her name. Too, Michael Penn (pre-balloon days) was awesome. The scene at the end where the South Korean champion offers to be Billy's brother is spectacular in the realm of cheesy movies. Rich
uscbigdawg
A friend of mine's show came out a couple of weeks ago on the WB and made me remember another movie w/ his co-star. RAD A "drama" of one yong man, Cru Jones, who has the intensity and desire to win a BMX race called Helltrack! Starring: Bill Allen (?), Lori Loughlin, Talia Shire (ADRIAN!!!) and Olympian Bart Conner (as the bad guy?). Awesome 80's soundtrack! Rich

ErikW
Dude! Caveman had Barbara Bach in a skimpy animal fur bikini. No matter how bad the movie was, for that reason you can't be embarassed to like it.

Duane Thomas
Thought of another one: Serendipity with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale. Oh YUCK! I've just lost all respect for you. What a waste of a great actor and actress.
Duane Thomas
Saw something last night on video with my girlfriend, the world's biggest vampire fan, this B-grade comedy called My Best Friend Is a Vampire. Okay, I'm not making a case for it being great entertainment, but I enjoyed it for what it was.

What a waste of a great actor and actress. OK... but how do you really feel? Speaking of Kate Beckinsale, seen the latest Diet Coke commercial? My favorite Cusack movie: Grosse Pointe Blank... might be my favorite movie, actually.

3quartertime
Most embarassing movie, that's easy. 1776. My entire class went to see it at a the local theatre in 1976. I've been hooked ever since!!! It took me years to find a copy of it but now I find great pleasure in tricking people into watching it with me. Usually by the second song they are laughing at me ( for singing along) and the movie ( for being so korny ).
mpolans
Conan the Barbarian. A friend and I watched the beginning right before our first law school exam to get psyched. So we go into the classroom and he yells to me, "What is best in life?" And I respond, "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women!" I think all the other people in class looked at us like we were psycho.
