Iwas looking for something else and found this old thread.

Funny...now. :DB)

It is pretty funny! Like anyone's made GM with anything but a 1911 style gun...let alone one of those plastic abominations!!!!!

 Chalk another one up for the archer!

I expect to make GM in the Thompson Contender division in 2018.

What's more, I will do it as a super senior. :o

Tls

P.S. I am a traditionalist. I may break down and put a C-More on my Contender but I insist on a steel frame and wooden grip.

I will never shoot a T/C with a polymer frame.

A man has to have principles.

Cool thread. One thing that jumped out was that Flex paid $75 ea. for Glock mags. I had no interest in pistols at that time, so I'm glad I missed those days.

Perhaps Flex's tag should be changed to: My gun didn't require financing, but my mags did.....:lol:

I still have those mags...but they've depreciated some. :)

I just ran into Dave Vaughn* on (yet another) shooting forum. He mentions making GM in 1994 !!! he had to be the first Glock GM ? Taran wasn't even a member yet. Valdes looks like he made it in early 97.

Dave Vaughn used a G22.

(*see post 36 of this thread.)
