Phil Dunlop
Tread drift I know, but Kyle did you hear why Matt Burkett was shooting Minor at the Limited Nats? Did he fail the chrono, or was he using a super or 9mm? Thanks P.D.
Flexmoney
Thanks guys. I didn't do so well on any of the big point stages though. Really dogged some of them. ---------- Phil, I didn't hear about Matt. Alot of people were very close on their Power Factor. The weather was pretty mild. DBChaffin
The guys at the SV "booth" at the Nationals had an aluminum slide on display, and someone said Matt was using one on his gun in the match. Don't remember who said it though so I don't know for sure.
benos
DB, As far as I know, Matt was shooting an aluminum frame and a steel slide. be

Like anyone's made GM with anything but a 1911 style gun...let alone one of those plastic abominations!!!!! Chalk another one up for the archer! 38superman
I expect to make GM in the Thompson Contender division in 2018. What's more, I will do it as a super senior. Tls P.S. I am a traditionalist. I may break down and put a C-More on my Contender but I insist on a steel frame and wooden grip. I will never shoot a T/C with a polymer frame. A man has to have principles. BSeevers
Nobody will ever win the Nationals with a Glock. I never said that.
mscott
Cool thread. One thing that jumped out was that Flex paid $75 ea. for Glock mags. I had no interest in pistols at that time, so I'm glad I missed those days.

TDean
Oh hell yeah.. To avoid the $80 mags, I went to a local GSSF match to "get a deal" on the Orange glock mags for $50 ea. Still have 'em...can't miss'em.
Flexmoney
I just ran into Dave Vaughn* on (yet another) shooting forum. He mentions making GM in 1994 !!! he had to be the first Glock GM ? Taran wasn't even a member yet. Valdes looks like he made it in early 97. Dave Vaughn used a G22. (*see post 36 of this thread.)
