NewColonial
I want to add my thanks to everyone who made this event possible. As a newbie (Area 8 was my third USPSA match) I was apprehensive, to say the least. Everyone I talked to, from squad mates, to RO's, to GM's, were friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to getting classified and shooting even more matches in the future. Thanks Seth, Alan, and everyone who worked so hard to put this together. gb32
I thought the stages we're quite challenging and fun, even Stage 2. Of course I had practiced for that one. Thanks to all who put it together and congrats to the winners. Nice work Chris. Good to meet you and I'm glad you did well. GB

Stage 7 had me down for 6d's not 6c's, guys check your results and make sure they are good to go! Thanks to all the staff at the Aera 8 match great stages!! Shootingirons45
As I said on another thread it was a great match, great stages, and even better RO's. Those guys and gals WORKED! I was part of the "Lost Boys" squad, 356 and I really appreciate all the hard work and efforts that it took to put this match on. I wasn't too fond of the hybrid squadding however. JakeMartens
I am really glad that this match was put on, I know that it came close to getting cancelled and that would have been a shame. Thanks to everyone involved in making this happen, I know how tough it is to put something like this on, and it turned out to be well worth it. I thought the stages were well thought out and of very good design and definitely challanging, that shows in the results!!! (12 GM's shooting well below their classification) As for my match, well I hung right in there on most stages, finshing as high as 12th on one, couple of 14th, a 15th and a couple of 16th, but as low as 39th and 56th had me finishing up 18th overall and 7th M in limited. (12 GM's shooting well below their classification) Yeah, On stage 3 in limited there was something like 30% seperating 3rd and 4th place. With the exception of almost zeroing stage 3 I had a pretty good match. I even managed to win stage 10 in limited. Thanks to all those who made this match happen. I think they need to give us all 10% since Dave had on his superman cape. There is also something in the rule book that the MD had check a box on the match application for it to count for a classifier, so we need Alan Meek to chime in on if he checked the box or not.
