just a thought. i use winchester small rifle primers exclusively in my 9x23 race gun because the nominal working pressure of the 9x23 is beyond that of normal pistol cartridges SharonAnne L2387

i shot the 2001 ICORE in D class after shooting the classifiers. i ended up third D. first and second D were USPSA A class shooers. in uspsa i am C class at roughly 50%. these 2 guys walked off with dillon 650s. i got a plaque. i would not be hard on a D shooter who just that weekend got moved to C. think how i felt. i ran my Para 9x23 open gun from oct 1999 to dec 2002. i lost track of the # of rounds. no cracks or failures. the P14 is practically new, less than 10k rounds. still, no cracks though. i will let you know how they stand up when i get back to competition in january 2003 Sharon Anne USPSA L-2387

Detef for my Para P 14 i run strictly Para factory mags with factory extended pads which gets me 14 in the mag. at the 2000 nationals when i questioned Todd Jarret about magazines i noticed that even in open class Todd runs factory mag tubes with factory extended pads. when asked he said he uses ONLY factory followers with Wolff springs. i hope that helps Sharon Anne L 2387

the slide not locking open IS the mag follower being chewed up. STI mags require STI followers. for your Para mags just get Para followers from Brownells. and the STI mags use different Dawson pads than the Para mags. Sharon Anne L 2387
