I believe some of the early nightforce scopes had "made in japan" on them. I have seen some of the real early nightforce scopes that said made in japan. The two that I have do not say on the scope where they are made, but I believe the box's said made in the USA. On a side note, Nightforce customer service is awesome, and the scopes are bulletproof. I am hoping Bobby will get some screamin deals on some 1-4's. I would love to have a 1-4 nsx for 3 gun. Randy

I have a 5 burner Signature series made by Vermont Castings. I run it off of my natural gas and love. We use it a ton. I think it is very well built! You might take a look. Randy

You have to have the correct foam. There are lots of different expansion rates and ratios on the a/b chemicals. If you get one with really high expansion ratio, you will have a hard time keeping it to the size you want. Most of the foams are not what I would call padding. They are STICKY as H!LL! Acetone will not touch the stuff for clean up. It is also pretty difficult to spray the foam to a form without having air pockets. The stuff that they use for shipping has a relatively slow expansion rate, and you use a plastic sheet or bag to keep the foam off of your item. The stuff is light, and pretty tough. Not at all cooperative with sunlight. Randy

You might have to adjust the height of the die in the holder for crimp, and adjust the knob on top of the die for seating depth. I do not know how the reddings work, but I am thinking that the crimp is built into the die body, and the whole die would have to be moved up and down to adjust crimp. The knob on the top of the die will only affect length. Leave a round long(bullet high) then adjust the die body until you get the crimp you want. After you have the crimp set, lock the die down and then adjust for desired length. Hope this helps Randy

If you already have a 17, then I would go with the 26. Not a ton of size/weight savings to go down to the 19 from the 17. Depending on how you carry, the shorter grip on the 26 will print less. I shot my 26 in uspsa for a while. It is a nice shooter. Randy

+1 I would also make sure you are not belling the case too much. If you are belling it too much, your crimp might not be closing enough of it. Randy

I am feeling a little jealous! My last dive was 4 years ago in Hawaii. On one day, we went on the night dive with the Manta Rays. UNBELIEVABLE having an 11 foot wingspan and grazing the hair on your head while they swoop in to eat plankton. I have dove locally, but my last dive here was 37 degree water, and about 4-6 feet visibility. Much better to dive in the warm climes. I gotta try and take a few dives in Florida the next time I go to visit my sister. Randy

The bar for airsoft stages has been set pretty high. If you are not moving, and there are not outdoor power product involved, you are just playing catch up. If you can figure out how to integrate a gas weed eater into your stage, you will get some bonus points. Randy

When I ran electronic muffs, I left them alone all day. I never had any issues with hearing anything but the beep. At our range it would be pretty tough to hear the timer in the next bay over. I now use custom fitted plugs. Randy

My recommendation would be for you to shoot as many as you can. Ask people you shoot with if you can shoot theirs. Find things you like. Then talk to a few smiths and try and find one that is on the same page as you. Try and nail down what you want and have it built. You can purchase a factory gun and I am sure have lots of trouble free use. What the custom gun is going to give you is a gun that is exactly what you want. My opinion only, and it is worth exactly $.00 Randy
