Get your self a mighty armory sizing die. they are expensive but worth every dollar. It Sizes the case farther then a lee U die. It’s hard to tell in the pic, but it leaves 1/16th unsized on the bottom of the case. But if you roll size or bulge bust that takes care of that area anyhow.
I use a mighty armory size/deprime die
MR bullet feeder powder drop
redding comp seating die
dillon crimp die
never needed a Lee FCD , I also never get and rejects in the hundo.
So I bought the die, I’m very impressed with it. I feel that is does a better job than my Dillon die. It seems to be a much more expensive version of a Lee U die.
I use a lee undersized die and a FCD , I’m getting much better ammo as a result of the Lee dies. I only use the Dillon seating die , but that’s going to change to a Redding competition seating die Very soon.
I installed this die and I’m very pleased with it, it definitely wasn’t hard to setup like some peopLe Here suggested. Makes my 40 cal ammo even better, I wonder if this die will lower extreme spread and SD when I chrono the new ammo.
thoughts?
Performance definitely comes from within and is also elevated with good or great gear and equipment. Ive never seen anyone win a division or get an overall win using a highpoint pistol..
When I load 40, my final station is only taking out the bell from flaring, that’s it. The case wall when properly sized is enough to hold the bullet in place. Even setback isn’t an issue this way.
