  1. Get or borrow the gauge, not all that easy to measure from the drawings. Lucky to have 45dv8 as a friend who just happens to own the gauge.
  2. Michael, you'll do quite well I'm sure. I can say that with confidence after working th last 2 Area 6 matches with you.
  3. Overpromise, under deliver = Business disaster. Underpromise - over deliver = Business success Deal with public everyday, I try to do the latter. Maybe that's we are so freeking busy all the time!
  4. Sorry for you and your wife's loss
  5. I've always found it a bit easier to reload with the Grams pads, but thought it was just in my head...now I guess maybe it's not so crazy I wondered if anyone would post as to whether or not which was easier to reload with. I used to have grip tape on my mags but now just run them as is and haven't noticed any difference. Anyone else notice reload differences with different baspads?
  6. Congrats, looks like you're ready to race. Is it 40cal? 500rounds? She won't even begin to break in for a few more thousand!
  7. I'm confused...........Looks the same.........????????
  8. Dale Sr. was certainlly one of the best or the best Nascar driver of all time. Dale Jr. is a great driver at times and at times his head is not into the game. He is in a lame duck situation that has to be frustrating. Next year he should have as good of equpment as possible, although the 5 and 25 cars are NOT in the same shop as the 24 and 48, so I guess we'll see. Hopefully all info is shared equally. Bottom line is I'm like everyone else, hoping Jr. grows up to be like Sr. All of us miss him!
  9. Thanks should be able to round up some 2520, although won't be doing mass quantities. I have some 4895, guess I'll try some of that first. Thanks for everyone's help!!!
  10. I am using the factory Springfield mount and yes it's a squirrely thing, but it and all rings etc are tight. The groups are not horrendous but when a rifle costs this much I would think sub 1.5 MOA is not too much too ask.
  11. Need some help with load data for my M1A national match. Has a Zeiss Diavari 2x10 scope. Groups only slightly better than my Thompson muzzleloader at this point. Tried 165 and 180 grain Nosler ballistic tips, fed one at a time to no avail. I purchased some 168 BTHP bullets and have most IMR powders available. Thanks
  12. Sweet ride, what was the actual wait time?

  14. Sorry, screwed that post up. Was a response to LPatterson........
  15. [quote name='LPatterson' date='Oct 4 2007, 08:19 AM' post='626945' I suffer from OCD so all brass is sorted by head stamp after cleaning, then deprimed on a RCBS RockChucker so if a case deprimes easier or harder than the one before it gets a special look. Now that's being a sticker, I'm freeking impressed!!
  16. Grip safety????? Oh you are referring to the the tab I remove off every 1911 I own so that it will actually shoot when I press the trigger with my fat hands...
  17. That makes at least 2 1050's Brian sold yesterday. Can't wait til mine gets here. Rounded up all my 40 brass, cleaned the bench, organized bullets and primers. ARE YOU READY?.........STANDBY!
  18. Obviously an IPSC shooter, high rollers that we are
  19. It will be obvious!!! It is part # 13376 Ratchet Restriction Tab, DO NOT try to eliminate part # 11686 Toolhead Ratchet Cam. Part # 12486, Cam Guide Bolt that holds in #11686 is the "do-hickie" that runs the primer feeding system. So, in short, it is #13376 that is the culprit!!! Thanks, I'll be on the lookout when I set it up.
  20. I have a couple of 20 round mags with Grams 4mm pads and they're reloadable. Granted, you have to seat them firmly, but I have never had one fail to lock in during a match. 21 round tubes are on the way.... I can also reload (with considerable force) 20 round Dawson equipped mags. I will ONLY do this if there is plenty of movement to do so. I prefer not to change my natural instinctive reload if possible. See my reply about the new Dawson SNL's. They are reloadable with 20 and do not require any excessive force.
  21. I have new Dawson SNL's on my Brazos mags. None will hold 21 rounds but all are reloadable with 20. Also all fit the magazine gauge without much hassle, no grinding at all. I have 1 SPS mag that also checks legal and will hold 21 rounds but only if the COL is 1.185 or less, so I have to keep special ammo just for it. Normally I load to 1.200 so special ammo is sort of a pain in the a--!
  22. Just ordered my 1050 from Benos today, hope I can figure out this ratchet doo-hickie ya'll are referring to and ditch it!
