the more i learn, the more i learn i don't know

I'm an old guy and found that the dot sight on an open gun was much more easy to see. I always shoot with both eyes open but when I was shooting with iron sights I needed to close one eye when dealing with a plate rack. -
It sure looks like the Everglades bullet. The picture on the Rose Distributing site of the Zero bullet looks like the front of the bullet is more rounded and has skives around the hollow point.

The base isn't two piece. It's hard to see in the photo. I'll check out the Zero bullets. That sounds like the best guess. Thanks -- Todd

Does this bullet look familiar to you? Who makes it? It's a 9mm, 125 gr JHP. The one on the right is of the base of the bullet.

I vote for the Tikka TAC A1

The 6.5 will recoil a little more but it's not bad at all. I think the .243 recoil is in between the two - maybe a little closer to the 6mm. For hunting deer I would go with the 6.5mm. I shoot the 6.5mm ( .260 Rem ) without a muzzle brake and it's very comfortable. I also shoot the 6mm Creedmoor without a brake and it's comfortable too. My .308 has a muzzle brake and the recoil on it starts to bother me.

I tend to place some of the flesh of my cheek on the rest instead of locking my cheekbone onto the rest.

Is the HS Precision stock an aftermarket one for the rifle?

Check out the Tikka TAC A1 too. -
Yes, they send out a postcard about 1 month before your certification expires. Raylon -- if you're like me give yourself a week to get the test done.

Thanks Chuck. It's nice to know that some people stay on top of this stuff.

Thanks for confirming. I don't get USPSADown Range so missed that memo. So it sounds like they want to give people a better chance of passing. Well, I never had any problems in the past but some of these new question might do me in. I'm stuck on a question about Metal Penalty Targets. Has there been some new rulings on the use of metal penalty targets?

The new RO Recert Exam is 20 questions this time around for me. I've always had 10 questions in the past. Does everyone get a 20 question treatment?
