  1. Safariland 014. It's alright, had to modify sides with a Dremel to not contact my grip/frame. Not sure if the 015 fits any better but probably wouldn't buy another.
  2. Checked my springs, one of my open guns has a 19 the other a 17 mainspring. Both function on CCI 450 srmp.
  3. Currently running AA7 with no issues but have some auto comp to try out. AA7 gets everywhere on the press.
  4. I've loaded 200's and 230's in 45 with 320, shoots great shouldn't have any issue with 165's.
  5. No experience with the Apex but I love my 1100. Had a 1050 before it that I debated keeping but the 1100 is definitely smoother so sold it off and figured if I ever wanted a second for large primers I'd get another 1100. I swap calibers on it and it's not that big of a deal since you should tear down to clean once in a while anyway. My 1100 has zero upgrades other than a bullet feeder. I also have a 750 and feel the build quality is much improved on the 1100.
  6. Definitely Lee. I prefer them for ease of oal adjustment and the factory crimp die makes it so I have no hangups and pass the gauge every time.
  7. I probably put 4-500 in at a time and don't have an issue. The new case feeder handles a bit more than the old style.
  8. I wouldn't trust the anvil to be in good shape after pushing them out of the cases. If it works for you and you trust it go right ahead.
  9. Forgot to mention, those were CCI 450's.
  10. I've run them in 2011 open guns with no issues. Not sure what mainspring is in them though.
  11. Thanks, at least we know it's a possibility.
  12. I prefer lee dies on pistol and 223. Can make OAL adjustments without messing with the lock ring. Factory crimp die makes sure I pass the hundo gauge every time. So much that I often wonder if I'm gonna keep checking them. I have Dillon dies that just sit in the box unused, so it's not about the cost.
  13. What your guns like and what's available. When the supplies were short blacks stayed available. Have also shot a lot of Blues and SNS. Precision Delta for comped guns too.
  14. Another vote for the large Dillon. May be expensive but it works and is big enough for large batches.
  15. Any pics of the optic and material you took off for that to fit? Looks good considered doing the same or just getting a slide cut for it.
  16. This is a great resource to see which parts can interchange instead of buying multiple conversion kits. Gun wiki Dillon conversion chart While not completely up to date it has the popular stuff. Good rule of thumb is if you need a shell plate probably should get the kit. Although with Dillon raising prices substantially on 1050/1100 conversions you may want to do the math.
  17. I've used both, don't really notice much velocity change either
  18. With Dillon home brew case lube I try to wipe them down if they are still sticky, with one shot they are usually good to go. I switched to one shot because of that.
  19. You aren't gonna be able to reuse those primers once you get them out. Same goes for cleaning them, I wouldn't trust them once in the tumbler without a bullet. If you think they are good I would wipe down and load up the ones in straight and deprime the rest. Even then probably only use them for practice.
  20. I run whatever small primers I can find aside from the military small rifle which might be too hard.
  21. Buy the one for the P10. Fits perfect and no dovetail.
  22. What would you say the best option is? I have an SRO on a CO gun have seen the second dot issue but only when looking for it but could see it being an issue in the right situation. I'm considering an SRO, XL or maybe the big 510c for an open gun.
