  1. Thanks, that looks like it really works great., I am going to call them and get the dimensions to see if it will work on my 1050. JD
  2. I have a new set of Lee dies! And I put them in my 1050, the only thing that I don't like is the Lee crimping die resizes the case again!! and it makes the press make a loud clunk as it release the bullet. I think I'm going to try a set of Dillon dies to get rid of this problem. I also talked to Dillon about it and they don't feel that resizing is a good thing because it can cause the case to pinch the bullet. Anyone else had this problem?? Thanks, JD

OK Thanks, I overlooked that statememt in the rules. I think I will call CZ Custom and Cagun gun works and get some prices. Thanks again, JD

Someone please correct me!! I thought that you could not use a Shadow2 for CO even if it made the 45OZ? I thought that the only machining could be to make the cut in the slide for the optic. I assume that I am wrong based on all of the posts about people that are using modified Shadow2s in CO. Please clarify this for me. Thanks, JD
  5. Not doing any caliber conversions! only loading 9mm. Still have a Square Deal B to play with for other things if need be. I know it is expensive and time consuming on the 1050. Thanks for the heads up. I think a 650 would have been just fine. But I am going to give the 1050 a shot and see how I like it. JD
  6. I just bought a 1050, just getting it dialed in. But so far I think that I am going to like it. I really like the fact that all functions are done on the down stroke! JD
  7. Thanks for all of the feed back, it sounds like we will all have to just wait and see. In the mean time I will just shoot my Shadow2 and the Canik SFX in CO. JD
  8. I found that 124gr RN plated with 3.25 of Tite Group will cause FTE's. But 124gr RN Coated with 3.25 of Tite Group shoot just fine in my SFX and have much less recoil than 147FN coated with 3.0gr of Tite Group. I have arthritis quite bad and am trying to come up with a comfortable load to shoot in my SFX and it seems like the 124grRN coated with 3.25 should work. I'm using 1.149 for OAL.
  9. I like the AR also that is why I am going to sell the Ruger. I'm just sorry that I bought the 2 PSA uppers instead of 1 PSA and 1 Tacom. JD
  10. The Ruger is 1/2X28 also, I think that quite a few are making the switch. JD
  11. I know, I know. I should have held off on the second barrel and got the Tacom. My Bad. JD
  12. Anybody else wish that PSA would change to 1/2X28 threads on their PCC barrels??
  13. I've been using the small Tacom on a PSA 16" upper and it seems to help. I wish PSA would change to 1/2X28!!! threads. JD
  14. I am going to try 145 RN, I have been shooting 147FN Bayou's. I have also been considering Summers bullets? JD
  15. Yes, 650 sorry for the typo! Others have said the same thing, that I may have to put the lock nut on the bottom. Thanks, JD
  16. I've been loading 147FN Bayou's, with 3.0 gr of Tite Group, 1.149oal, and they seem to shoot fine in all of my guns. However I have been trying some 124RN and they feel pretty good do to the reduced recoil. I have arthritis pretty bad in my right wrist. JD
  17. I have been shooting 147FN, 1.149coal, but I'm switching to 124s because they have less recoil and the gun seems to like them just as well. JD
  18. Thanks for the feed back. I'm going to give the Lee dies a try. JD
  19. I sure hope that it does meet the weight! but I am not optimistic. I wish someone from CZ would jump in here and give us a update. JD
  20. Thanks for all of the input. 1050 on the way, I'll wait and see how it goes and then decide. JD
  21. Any body heard anything on WHEN?? and if it will meet Carry Optic specs?
  22. Curious if anyone is using a RCBS bullet feeder on there progressive press? Not interested in spending $500.00 for a MBF at this point. Just looking into other options. Such as the RCBS and MBF mini. Thanks, JD
  23. I just got into PCC! I started with PSA upper and lower, if you watch for them on sale, you can get the upper for $249 and the lower for $149 and have a nice gun to start with for $400.00. You can make some really nice up grades that fit your needs. The gun shoots great right from the start and you are not chasing problems of two different manufactures. The first thing that I did was put in Hiperfire triggers and lighter and better stocks and grips, Less than $200 in upgrades. Just my .02 JD
