Except that they themselves produced the lemons with their poorly thought out bylaw. DNROI still has the power to remove any board member for any reason, real or imagined. they are still selectively applying the rule differently to 2 different board members. The YML situation is only put off until his appeal has happened. The fact that he was scrubbed from the USPSA web page before the last meeting even happened seems to indicate that someone in the power structure wants him gone. And they jumped the gun without considering the blowback.

I agree. As far as I’m concerned the BoD has used up any benefit of doubt by all the shady stuff that’s been happening over the last 18 months.

Conspiracy theorists could say that this was intentionally written into the bylaws as a back door way of getting someone off the board. while I wouldn’t go quite that far, the fact that this method was used to remove a sitting president is beyond absurd.

The thing that gets me is, the person in charge of deciding this has had plenty of incidents of poor judgement, and he’s never once been disciplined for it.

The guy just recently won the biggest popularity contest in USPSA. I’d call this more than a straw. if nothing else, this will hopefully wake people up.

I was told that they switched to a custom barrel made by faxson so that they wouldn’t have to cut and recrown the oem barrel. Big time saver I’m sure. No idea if the chamber support issue played into it.

I’ve had YML as CRO many times over the years, he’s always been a straightforward and standout RO. the complaint seems way out of character for him.

Going into that would almost certainly get this thread locked. But if you think there is nothing wrong you are kidding yourself.

They’ve been emboldened by what they’ve gotten away with in the past 18 months. Sure, there is a short term uproar from a small portion of the membership, but they ignore it, and nothing comes of it. So the behavior continues to get worse. hopefully, this might be the wake up call for the 80% of members that care about nothing other than their local match.

I don’t even get your viewpoint here. LO will eventually be a permanent division. A small amount of effort to do things right isn’t unreasonable.

I’m going to do LO this year, but I’m using a 2011. I don’t see much point in using my p320 in LO, with or without the magwell.

That’s entirely possible. In fact sig has changed up the barrel design a few times now, the newer barrels seem to have more support. That said, in the video that prompted this thread, the amount of smoke that comes out of the guys gun when it blows up is like 3x his normal shots. It’s hard not to suspect an overcharge.

That’s the thing of it… I don’t know of anyone that has had it happen with brand new factory ammo. I know people want to believe that they didn’t f*#k up. But it’s more likely than not that ammo was the cause of most of these problems.

I’ve had it happen 2 times in 5 years and 250k+ rounds. 1 time I’m pretty sure it was a double charge, the other i’m not so sure about. the sig is designed to blow out the extractor in an over pressure.

Most of the classifiers I’ve looked at have a significant difference between the HHF for open and CO. maybe CO is still too low? either way, I’d rather have them start too high than too low.

The general vibe I’ve gotten is, the BOD wants no chance that people will be over classified. The initial HHF in PCC and to a lesser degree in CO, were way too low. Using open HHF is setting the bar very high to start. It would be a tall task to reach GM in LO using open HHF. In fact most people will probably be under classifier by 10%.

Doesn’t USPSA already cover that?

It’s made specifically to have an optic.

Bead blasted is a completely raw finish. The cover plate would have to be made specifically for that slide. a generic one wouldn't work.

GM in CO. Made it in early 21. I was 47.
