  1. Here’s a cerakote camo job that I did for my twin legions at home. Tell me what you guys think
  2. They should also be able to plug the rear of the slide for looks but can hog out the inside of the slide to remove some weight as well. Not too sure of how much svi actually cuts up their slides.
  3. I wonder if they are going to remove the extractor hole in their slides from here on out.
  4. I run 9mm with no spacers. Haven’t had a mag issue yet. The same cannot he said about sti mags with no spacer....
  5. My old sv tubes work perfectly in that grip.
  6. Depends if you’re planning on shooting major or minor. There are lots of single stack open guns, most of them are built for steel challenge and built for minor shooting.
  7. I’ve broken roughly 15 of the “top” name brand red dots on the market. Someone suggested that I put a tiny dab of black silicone in between the slide and the dot. Haven’t broken a dot since in 85k+ rounds. Haven’t lost zero once.
  8. I see this item as a solution for a problem that doesn’t exist.
  9. We had to make our own mount out of aluminum. Took a while but it works. Couldn’t find one anywhere
  10. Does anyone else not like pT’s attacking comments on this forum? I think I might stay away from PT for a while after reading this forum for a little
  11. I had to remove some material from my daa in order for it to release smooth. I just picked up the new Safariland and hoping that it will be better and not require mods.
  12. I make dummy rounds with no powder or primer in. Then fill the primer hole with hot glue. If they no longer function then I just remove the glue and redo them. Takes about 10 min for a set of 30.
  13. Has anyone with basic sewing skills try to make their own bag? Or has a wife with some decent sewing skills?
  14. Cp is a much easier setup in the mill, I prefer the cp cut but own guns with both cuts
  15. I have bought every single .22 conversion kit known to man. All of them had issues except for the pace setting design one. Do not waste your money like I did, this is the kit to get. http://pacesettingdesign.com/psd1911-22?product_id=57
  16. He manufactured them. They are also adjustable by using 1911 springs.
  17. There is a new manufacture of pcc buffer that is local to me that makes a specific buffer for steel challenge. The website is not up and running as of yet but will be less than a week apparently. Pace Setting Design is the company. he shoots 1.8gn of ba10 with a 100gn bullet. shooting about 65-70 pf. He runs a taccom 5” barrel. The gun shoots incredibly soft, similar to my .22’s. it shoots incredibly soft and I am having him build me one as we speak. Retail price is around $150.
  18. If an item is released at shot it’s normally 6-18 months before the public can get ahold of it.
  19. G96 oil and a toothbrush work for the majority of it. I then ultrasonic clean it.
  20. You can rollsize the brass once it’s loaded.
  21. What is your minor load if you don’t mind me asking?
  22. Has anyone tried to make major with BA10 powder? Love the stuff for minor and 9mm.
  23. I miss the run what you brung days. Loved showing up to matches and see the other guys new gear
