Most bullets people use do not have a crimp or canulare for the crimp. The 160 coated bullets are a popular bullet due to you do not have to push as hard to make minor. I have never used 700x so I could not give you any type of load for that. What I use is Vittavoury 320 at 3.2 grains seated at 1.165. Makes about 132 pf. Each revolver will be different and make sure you crono each load and look for signs of pressure Flattened primers hard extraction.

I also use Austin Moon clip server and would not switch as you never have to look down to grab a moon clip as it is always in the same place. I would also get 2 single post North Mountain and have them on your belt in case you need to load from a table.

Either works just fine, I just prefer the roll crimp.

My set came with a 38 S&W crimp die with a roll crimp. I use the Lee FCD in 38/357 with a spacer to hold the roll crimp down in the die.

Yes, just use the crimp die in the Lee set. Most will go to the 9mm crimp die because all they have is 38/357 dies and the crimp die will not adjust down far enough for the 38 short colt.

I use them in my 650 but on a 650 you have to put the locking nuts on the bottom side of the tool head.

On a single stage they would work perfect and they would also put on a roll crimp

In fact this weekend I just took all the lube off of the 1000 I had and so far I have coated about 250 using epoxy and powder coat. Now that I checked their site and see they are coating I will just order from them. If you call them they will size to what you want.

I thought I read somewhere on this forum that Armscor will cut the frame for a ramped barrel under warranty. I don't know if it includes the ramped barrel.

I've never had to worry about a press check. Open cylinder drop in moon clip and presto, rounds in all chambers. Now if I put a moon clip in with no rounds loaded on the clip I should not be allowed to own a gun. ?

I have been using 3.2 VV N320 with 160 coated bullets seated at 1.165 with no problem. I changed from VV N310 due to the fine line on on pressure indications. I have a friend that shoots 3.7 VV N320 Berry 158 plated bullets with no problem.
