  1. L-10 Firearms out of CA. Used to. Idk if they still do.
  2. VZ Tactical II work well for me.
  3. +1 @davsco where’s your sense of adventure OP??!! Use a punch and swear words like everyone else LOL JK! That’s a pretty cool tool!
  4. https://staccato2011.com/products/dawson-precision-optic-system-slide-milling-service/ staccato offers the service according to their website.
  5. If you find a used one, a Staccato XL in .40 will eat whatever you throw at it.
  6. LOL, I learned how to shoot pistol from the bullseye crowd when I was growing up… I don’t like working fundamental, but they’re important.
  7. I have one for USPSA limited. It’s a solid pistol all the way around. Everything’s tight and holds 3” off-hand at 50 Yds if I’m doing my part. Only thing I changed was the magwell.
  8. Personally, I don’t think you can go wrong with either option for a 2011. Big thing between TTI and Dawson is size. They are both easy to disassemble and work on without tools.
  9. TTI 4mm base pads with grams springs & followers seems to be the norm. That’s gets you 20 reloadable in a .40 prolly 23-24 in a 9mm. Good luck.
  10. Warwick Tactical makes some good stuff too… and you can get the slide barrel and frame fitted like Brazos.
  11. I don’t think you can go wrong… I have bigger hands and have shot a TSO and a Shadow 2. Both guns fit my hands well, meaning I can access the safety, mag release, and slide lever without manipulating my grip. There is a difference circumference wise, but it is minimal and I think you’ll be happy with either. Kinda depends on what division / game you’re looking to play. good luck!
  12. I detail strip my pistols and put everything but the tiny parts in there. The model I have had several settings with 480 seconds being the longest. I run it with heat for 480 seconds. Take it out and let it drip dry. Then run a bore brush down the barrel and patch till clean. Wipe off the excess and back together the gun goes. Pretty streamlined and simple. I suppose you could forgo the extra barrel cleaning but I like clean lands and grooves lol
  13. Hey there, I bought this off Amazon on a whim and am thoroughly impressed. I’ve had mine for a while with no issues whatsoever. Very simple to use and it also has a heater to help with cleaning. I use Lucas ultrasonic cleaner solution inside (usually have to replace every 3-6 month depending on the time of year). This is as cheap and easy as it can get. 14. You can order them from their website. I’ve never seen them in stock. But, they allow back order. When I did it, I got mine it approximately 2 weeks. I legit think they can’t keep up with the demand and just ship out as they get materials. Hope this helps!
  15. SVI tear drop. I didn’t notch the grip tho, I took metal off the back of the tear drop until it functioned. Then, I locktited the screw to the mag catch. Works like a dream.

    Tso mag well

Without taking it apart or looking at it, I would assume you could peen the track it sits in to keep it tighter. I used to do that trick with M1 garlands go keep them tight. Your other option is to drill and tap a screw if there’s enough meat to do it. Good luck
  17. What did you think of the pistols? Which was your favorite?
  18. MBX makes metal Glock mags that would go with the metal magazine release. They’re predominantly for PCC, But a Glock mag mine the less...
  19. I would think they should, they make plates for Staccato/STI. Those all use the DPO/DUO optic plate from Dawson.
  20. Correct. The new mag releases are specific to the pistol.
  21. EGW makes one that fits into existing dovetail cuts... IDK if your going that route or not. Then, CH Precession Firearms (CHPWS) also makes mounting plates / cuts slides as needed. Good luck!
