Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Ok thanks! Yea Im more accurate with this gun than I was with my SP-01. I may get the PM barrel for my F upper and get another PMM comp at some point. I just like the balance of the C upper on the F frame though.
  2. I dont reload. I run the Fiocchi 9mm, open minor. So are you saying you would you suggest a 13# spring?
  3. So I'm using a PMM compensated P10C slide on my P10F frame. It runs perfectly fine with normal fire. At my match on Sunday, I had two FTE's during the "double tap" on a paper target, two different stages. I didn't pay attention to what mag I was using when they happened. These are the first two FTE's I've had with the comped C upper regardless of the lower used, and being that it was while doing "double taps" I'm thinking the recoil spring should be lighter. Does anyone know what parts are compatible with the C upper? Should I just get a stainless guide rod and try a Glock 19 15# spring or something?
  4. That's actually exactly what I asked my buddy who does stippling and cerakoting. His reply was "it could work, but maybe a couple of thin brass or tungsten dowels/rods would be better." My original thought was to just open up a shotgun shell and mix some in with epoxy. Side note, mine didn't come with different backstrap sizes. I also didn't see a cutout for them in the foam in the box. Does the F not come with different sizes or are mine missing?
  5. Picked up my F this afternoon. Love the feel of the grip, and the mag release isn't stiff like my C is. I promptly put my comped C upper on the F frame just to see if it would function - it does. And honestly, the balance feels better. This got me to thinking, though, with the giant hollow space under the backstrap on these guns, could you fill them with something to add some weight and make them better balanced? Maybe drop a brass or tungsten rod in and fill with the same epoxy that the Glock guys use to do grip reductions? Thoughts? Pic of C upper on F lower, attached, just to show you guys.
  6. Well I don’t know what you guys are talking about, because I don’t reload (yet), but I’m picking up an F tomorrow.
  7. Watching, hoping y'all keep this thread going. I've been considering picking one up as well. I have a P10C with a PMM comp that I really like.

    CZ P10F Magwells

I'm pretty sure the ones listed on CZ Custom will work. You just have to pay attention to which size backstrap you plan to use.
  9. Thanks! What about the grip thickness?
  10. Any owners on here with a set of digital calipers care to help me out?
  11. Just coming across the LTT. How does the slide/dustcover thickness compare to the SP-01/P-01/PCR? I am looking for something I can carry and use in competition. I have carried the SP-01 so at 6 oz lighter, weight wouldn't be an issue. Thickness, however, would be an issue as I don't want a thick gun AIWB. My P320 X-Carry is the thickest I would want to go. The SP-01 is actually a hair thinner than the P320 (takedown and controls not included - slide and dust cover only).
  12. Like I said a couple posts up, I’m not seeing it anymore. I know I read it on two different occasions (it would be a strange rule to come up with out of the blue on my own), but I can’t find it anymore either. So they either recently changed the rule or I was inadvertently reading rules for a different division. I apologize for the confusion either way.
  13. Again, I am not trying to justify THIS build for IDPA/USPSA anymore. My questions have been answered. The ship has sailed though; I've already paid for the lower with custom engraving etc. It will get built into something fun, it just won't be what I would pick to be serious in IDPA/USPSA now. It'll be better to build another and go a different route with it. Darn.
  14. I just looked at the rules again, and I'm not seeing where a legal SBR is not allowed. I see that it says PCCs with anything other than a butt stock designed to be shouldered are not allowed; ie pistol braces and buffer tubes.
