  1. I didn't have my calipers handy, but it's right around 4cm (just over 1.5").
  2. As far as I've been able to tell, they use the same cylinder blank for all calibers (including both diameter and length). I know the frame window is the same for sure. Assessing the feasibility of making a new cylinder is far beyond my skills.
  3. They sent me a refund when I asked for one. Promptly, even.
  4. It depends on how new they are. The older moons did an "okay" job (especially with Starline) but weren't as solid as TK Customs. The newer moons look to be stamped out of tinfoil and my brass literally falls out of them. I used a mix if TK Custom and Ranch Products 646 moons in a match today (all Starline brass) and couldn't tell the difference. The RP's are definitely a cost-effective alternative to the TK's.
  5. Your setup sounds fine based on this. Non-stock cartridges are allowed, and assuming your barrel isn't ported or a bull barrel or something, it would be of factory configuration.
  6. To be fair... you won that trade, lol. I want to play with one at some point but I'll likely have to buy it in order to do that (you don't typically see these sitting around at the local shops). Need to get lucky or wait for the Covinsanity to end.
  7. I did the same thing with MCE Digital Armory. They're 15 minutes away but I ordered something and had it shipped. Which is fine... until USPS sent it to Las Vegas for some reason.
  8. Hey Mark, Are you just matching the length of your current Grand Power spring? Or is there a certain number of coils you removed?
  9. To their credit, I requested a refund and got a reply within a few hours letting me know that they had refunded my AMEX. Not to their credit... I had payed with PayPal. I sent a follow-up email to let them know. They seem to mostly check email in the evenings so hopefully I'll hear back tonight.
  10. Just hit the six month mark on my Gallant order. Emailing to ask for a cancellation now...
  11. You rang? I'm shooting Revolver major (USPSA), Limited 6 (ICORE), and ESR (IDPA) at all of my local matches through June. In terms of big matches: GCAS Border Wars IDPA Rocky Mountain Regional Championship ICORE Rocky Mountain Regional Bighorn Classic State Championship I'm iffy on IRC but I really want to go. Maybe Jerry will bless my guns.
  12. My thread (well, I hijacked it) until got shut down because discourse is dead. I called it in the thread that this would be a poll in the next two months and here we are... It's great that they clarified it. I helped change a rulebook!
  13. Screw that, I'm going Revo Open Optics Carbine. With a grenade launcher.
  14. A few snips... I had to deal with than one last night, and it wasn't even a new shooter. I'm all for the change, but also curious what happens with HHF. I'm really curious if they will address the on/off state of the light in the revised rules. I completely get your concern (hell, if I could have, I would have duct-taped a light to my N-Frame by the end of Friday during the 2020 MHS), but I would prefer the option to use the light and risk it becoming a must-have if it's going to be an either/or judgement. That might stem from shooting too many indoor matches with less-than-stellar lighting... including my own.
  15. It'd be a little much to smash all the divisions in one shot. These definitely look like first steps towards a consolidation, though.
  16. That was my thought - starting seated and unloaded from a metal chair could get dicey. (I say that as someone who's hooked a folding chair on a moonclip post and shot the whole stage that way)
  17. I don't think it's a massive game-changer... which is why I'm fine with it. To me, the advantage are: Lots of folks have carry guns that are setup for CO + flashlight, so now they can run them as-is Holster compatibility; I have a few guns that I run in a modified Omnivore I'm assuming this means the light can be on while shooting (waiting on the rule release to confirm). This could be useful for those of us that shoot indoor matches The changes seem generally well-received so far because the change isn't massive. I think the holster/mag pouch changes are actually a bigger deal.
  18. There is no definition of "pouch" in the rulebook. They would have to add that requirement.
