  1. There some deals on the Hornady steel case "training ammo". $280.00 plus shipping per 1k. Don't let the steel case spook you... For brass case ammo, you're not going to get any better than 300-ish per 1k (plus shipping) for the next few months.
  2. Auburn takes the South Carolina state title! War Damn Eagle!
  3. Not too long, maybe three hours tops. Biggest key is getting the correct Dremel bits, I started with grinding stones to cut the big forged checkering off and progressed to steel carbide cutters to remove smaller amounts, shape the curves, and smooth things out. I did run some of the polish wheels over the surface to further smooth it out, but I never went back with and 600 or 800 grit wet/dry paper to clean off the tool marks.
  4. Same here, never got around to finishing it out with sandpaper though.
  5. I've seen a few guys reloading aluminum cases. They wear out faster, primer pockets loosen and case mouths split.
  6. My favorite hairstyle rocks. Best ever. All those other high maintenance hairstyles are for effete losers. The long haired hippies should wear a Whole Foods bag over their heads in shame. Now I hate photobucket's changes...grrr
  7. I predict a much better year for the Vols sans Kiffin. The SEC is a much cleaner place without him.
  8. After you remove the rust, coat the whole thing in Crisco (or generic store brand lard or shortening)...cook in on the grill outside, much less mess.
  9. Case Pro. Not only for Glock'd brass, but also because roll sizing the cases makes (at least to me) the 650 run more smoothly. Much less work (effort) sizing...all the cases are reasonably consistent. I still case gauge all my ammo, but that's more of a personality type issue. The prep work and reloading process is fun (when everything's working, broken stuff in never fun).
  10. Your plastic gun's so lousy the serial number starts with DUDxxxx
  11. I've gotten the same little bug in the show new content, I'm viewing with Mozilla Firefox browser.
  12. Same Russian ammo from the same plant as Wolf. Different US importer and packaging. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=111520
  13. Same thing as Wolf, different importer and different packaging http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=111520
  14. I know a wholesale outfit with three in stock...
  15. http://www.youtube.com/user/NMAWorldEdition#p/u/4/YncVKgpTd6E
  16. Um, ok. A "luke skywalker" holster? I like creative effort.
  17. I was just cursing about those pesky screws last month. It is heartening to see that I'm not the only one to page DR DREMEL for an assist.
  18. They are identical, other than packaging. The Tulammo (imported by Tulammo USA, INC.) is the same ammo and components from the same Russian plant in the city Tula as that which was branded Wolf (imported by SSI in NJ). SSI lost the import contract some time back. Hence all the closeout prices on merchandise branded Wolf.
  19. Guidance Counselor? I say President. Larry Correia has R. Lee cast as an alternate universe's SECDEF in his short serial The Adventures of Tom Stranger: Interdimensional Insurance Agent. http://larrycorreia.wordpress.com/2010/05/17/the-adventures-of-tom-stranger-interdimensional-insurance-agent/
  20. The Magpul 308 P-mags and C-Products 308 mags should fit the following 308 lowers: DPMS LR-308 Remington R-25 JP 308 KAC SR25 Larue OSR LWRC REPR POF P-308 Bushmaster ORC-308
  21. Better velocity from the 26" barrel and the ballistics of factory ammo (at least) will be closer to what's published.
  22. The FN SLP is a Winchester SX2 branded FN. The Browning Golds are very nearly identical too, all those marques are FN Herstal property.
