Funny old man. Wait so they are round? Dang it!
-
I have this issue at 42. Went to larger MOA and it’s much better.
-
I had the pro. Not even a close comparison
-
I only have 1500 rounds on mine but I can tell you that shooting into the sun is not an issue. The glass is extremely nice and I wish I would’ve found this optic sooner. I will continue to update as I get more rounds on it.

Is the OG Romeo3 the same footprint? I know the RTS2 and the FTP Alpha 3 are. Try the FTP if you get in a pinch. I know of a couple 3 moa Romeo3 Max. What MOA are you wanting? I run the 6 on both of my R3 Max.

It may be quite a while before they can be brought into the country. Throw an RTS2 in there for now and enjoy the new gun at least.

That’s the powder I started with but it gets the gun way too hot in live fire practice and is extremely dirty. I switched to N340 and never looked back.

Ha! I needed a laugh. Back on track, how many rounds are through this bad boy now? What was break in like or were any specific instructions given by Johnny? -

How much more in depth is the servicing on the bottom end? He lightly touches on it in regards to grease etc. I want to do it right the first time. Kinda nervous actually.

I have a pound of Major to try. It's from an older lot a couple years ago. My barrels are 5" KKM bull island barresl with (2) 3/16" popple holes. Will start with 9.5 or so and report back.

Yep, and they seem to never disintegrate during a practice session but rather at a match during a great run! The caps are bad and I have bought a couple as spares after heartache last year.

That’s the same video I’ve watched all week!

It goes fast! How long did it take to do the job? I need to set some time aside to do it. Matt

If you are at 10k+ did you tear it down and do and do a full clean and lube per Dillon specs? I am nearing that on my machine and can tell it is starting to need it.

FTP sells one and so do others (atlas, etc). Get one that is for the Romeo3 Max or XL
-
This review finally convinced me to get one. He never said which MOA he had or did I miss that?
-
I ran the rig hard in live fire practice last week and really do like it. Once you figure it out it’s rock solid.
-
Will be posting an update next week with pics as I will have the new build in my hands!
-
Any more updates or info on this?

Very slow shooting feel for me. 124 and 115 are much better. I only shoot 124
-
I had to mess with all kinds of speed and angle variations on my RF100 and now it is 110% but a little slow. Sometimes there are two primers left when it times out. I can trust it now and don't have to watch it which is nice. I too am glad I cancelled my order for DAA and went with the Dillon. That being said there are guys out there with the DAA running well and I am sure they will continue to fine tune it, etc.

I wear a size 36". Here is a link to the DIY options... https://www.ratchetingbuckles.com/ If you get one or make one you will need a little Velcro for a mod that a buddy told me about. It will keep the belt from bunching up at the ratchet point. It was like $11 on Amazon for a huge roll. I really appreciate the kind words. We just want her to be better. In the meantime we have a high deductible which forces me to have to sell off a bunch of stuff soon.

I got the belt and ordered the correct size according to the sizing specs and chart but it was too big and I couldn't tighten it down without running out of clicks and it was still too lose. RHT would not take back without restocking fee so I said forget them and modded it myself. The actual belt was pretty close to the right size but the ratchet placement was off. I am in between a Medium and Large and kept the Medium. I drilled a new hole and moved ratchet and now it's good. Yesterday I finally got the new rig set up and had to cut the plastic ratchet strap a bit to shorten up the excess that was sticking out. The belt is solid! Much more of a firm and secure feel over the DAA with next to no sag. I took my DAA inner belt and am using that for now. Dry fire showed lots of potential and it stayed tight with a full rig. To me I think its worth the money but if I was to do it again I would buy the ratchet mod kit and do my existing DAA belt. Time is at a premium between work and another round of hospitalization with my 12 year old daughter so I am glad it was pretty easy to set up. Hope this helps!
