  1. Thanks, kind of hard to conceal a full size Beretta 92 as is, without a 20 rd mag sticking out of the bottom of it
  2. Anyone tried these? Are they worth the $50 price tag? In the sandbox and having to change to a Beretta 92 and I want some reliable mags. I know there were some issues with 92 mags but I didn't remember if it was just a bad batch or the OEM mags just don't work well over here. Didn't know if these were the fix to the issues seen over here or what. I am a glock guy so I don't have a knowledge base with 92's. Haven't carried one since the mid 90's.
  3. So where will a guy be able to get them? Or is that unknown at this time?
  4. Yes there are recoil springs available. ISMI makes about every poundage possible, find one that will work with the load you want. No, the trigger with trigger bar is G21 specific. So are strikers and ejector housing. Disconnect and springs are standard parts. Most places that you can get parts for will show what models they work on. Just make sure you test everything pre match to make sure you haven't compromised your Glock reliability.
  5. Glockmeister or Arredondo Not sure if Arredondo has the stock length springs, if that is what you are looking for. Glockmeister has what ya need, but if you are building extended mags then just get the Arredondo kit and add some followers.
  6. Miwall Shot thousands of Miwall in 223 and 40. No issues at all. Once fired commercial reloaded ammo. Good stuff when its in stock. $279/K Just noticed your east coast. East Coast warehouse is out, only west coast has it in right now. Oh well, something to keep in mind for next time I guess. They make good stuff.
  7. Anything built by Benny is gonna run better than stock (insert random brand name here). Get a Benny 930 and buy once, cry once. If you buy stock in the end you will want to upgrade it and end up spending more money to trick it out. Its inevitable.
  8. Saw PMAG so I am guessing AR 10. Here ya go for those Brownells Reviews are not flattering so who knows. Hopefully some HM guys will answer up I use these for my AR mags and they are great and I highly recommend them. Here are their 308 version. Wilderness Tactical
  9. Help us out and tell us what type of 308 you will be shooting so we know what kind of mags you are trying to carry.
  10. Found them, not in the magnification range I am looking for. So no one has any word on the Weaver? I looked at the Millet, Bayou is that a FFP or SFP reticle?
  11. Looking for an affordable paper punching scope for a 308 bolt gun. I can get a screaming deal on one of these, MSRP $1000. I can score one for half price. Will this be an accurate scope? I know its no S&B, NF, or USO but I don't have the money in the budget for one of those and my life will not depend on this rifle. But will the weaver glass be good and hold accuracy? Any help would be appreciated.
  12. Seeing as how it is only with that mag and not others it can't be the gun. I guess you got a bad mag. Is there anything different about the top of the mag compared to the other ones? Because usually it is the follower that trips the slide lock to lock the gun open on an empty mag. Maybe there is something on the top front of the mag that is out of spec that is tripping the slide lock? If that is the case you might be able to trim the front of the mag so it won't do that. It being new I would say return it and get a new one. Maybe call Glock and they would hook you up if you can't get a refund from where you got it from. Good Luck!!
  13. The insert is worth the 1 oz difference IMHO. And it balances nice. Especially if you are going to have all that weight up front. As for a suppressor during a match, I dunno. It wouldn't be competitive but don't know if it is legal.
  14. Since Benny is doing Benelli's and Mossberg's I would call him and see what he can do for either, compare cost on both builds and go for the best deal. Either way you get a Benny Shotty and the money you save compared to the other one can be justified to be spent on shell caddies and ammo for practicing weak hand reloads Good luck with your project.
  15. Shouldn't be an issue except for ejector. 9mm and 40 are different.
  16. Don't know tac grip, but the others are. They got approved last year or so. Trugrip and gorilla for grippy, they are exactly the same if ya ask me, I can't tell the difference thats for sure. In fact if Eric's stuff was patented I was accuse them of stealing the idea.....
  17. Everything I can find is ported unless its a shorty barrel. Have it cut and threaded to the chokes of your choice.
  18. yeah man if you don't have a gun already then get an AR. If you already had a Mini 14 and wanted to use it to get in the game then yeah go for it. But if you are looking to buy a gun then just go with an AR.
  19. Tru Grip is great but no one has heard from Eric in awhile. I bought a set on his website 5-6 months ago and they never showed up. Multiple emails have gone unanswered. I have Tru Grip on all my glock's and they are awesome but unfortunately Eric has gone MIA. Chris Patty, a forum vendor, sells gorilla grips which are pretty much identical to Tru Grip, just not as many options but they make one for the full size frame. Go with them, you won't be upset.
  20. I see like a horizontal line with fuzzy circles on the end. edited to add circles on both ends..... weird..... anyways off to work.....
  21. Make sure the action bars haven't been bent and torqued over the years as well. That will cause stiff cycling. A loose forend nut will also cause torquing of the action.
  22. What about the production type division? They have to shoot at 170pf? They are just talking about Major PF. production is minor, whole other ball of wax.
  23. Actually the first wingmaster magnum was made back in 1955. The express line with its lower quality wood and finish showed up in 87. My old department had Wingmaster Magnum's as old as 1968 (after doing some serial number research) and they ran like champs, and in some cases better than some of the new ones we had. The wingmaster super magnum came out in 2000. In the end the 870 has so many variations, barrel lengths, finishes, sight set ups, etc I don't think anyone knows the total count except probably some guy in the basement of Remington Edited to ask..... 1911VM what is the barrel code on your 870, if it is the original barrel I might be able to find out when it was made. On the left side of the barrel to the right of the inspector mark there should be some letters, if you can still read them let me know.
