  1. JP single stage, fitted. 2nd choice is the JP drop in.....
  2. If you can find something get it. The recent retail buyout of everything that goes bang or helps it go bang has left not much to be desired. Especially since you need to get some time behind that new optic before the match. As for anything that comes out at the shot show, dont hold your breath for it. Add 6 months to a year on top of whenever they say it will come out after the Shot show and then expect retail markup. I talked with Burris actually last week on a xtr LEO price. they are several months behind just fyi........ If ya can find it, buy it, shoot it......
  3. Unless they have changed how they do business, the nice thing is you get a tool for each extension so I have like 5 tools in just about every place. two in the range bag, one in the spare parts box, etc, etc.....
  4. Personal opinion, I have tried both, I like the Arredondo. they both work mind you but I like the Arredondo's better. Polymer to polymer seems to work better on taking apart for cleaning and such. My 2 cents....
  5. My mother went to school with the daugther of Lear Jet. Her name was Crystal.......Shanda.......Lear Poor girl
  6. I like my peltor's, they dont get in my way. Been usin'em for yrs.
  7. glockparts.com ive had good customer service with them.
  8. Working with Pmags I don't know. Lots of people use them and I likem. Not that some don't work but I have seen alot of 42, 52, beta blah blah mags go tits up. Most 30's will work for ya and just in case u need more than 30 the mag change with them coupled together is lightening fast. They also make a great monopod to shoot off of. (now lets not start another flaming thread about this) Just make sure your match you are shooting allows you to pod off of coupled mags.
  9. I like my 20" but I do shoot limited/iron sights so with my irons out at the comp the more distance the better.
  10. We now have a date, March 28th 2009. Website will soon have information and registration.....
  11. it would have to be down the road but if they got there numbers up to over 2000 then it would be up them to have it pass the inspection, its possible.
  12. From John "If they followed the criteria posted on the production handgun list, and the criteria of the division is met (Appendix D4), it would more than likely be approved, however, they could not call it a G34 as it would no longer be a Glock. John"

  14. Email sent to DNROI, will let you all know what he says.....
  15. is it me or the website a little busy, couldnt find info on or the registration info. not that it matters to me since ill be ways away but for those that are looking to go..........
  16. Yeah its back, unfortunately I planned to go to this two years ago and it was cancelled. I have been waiting for it to pop back up and now I'm off to Iraq for a year. Argh........figures. Good luck to anyone who gets a chance to go. I know henning had a nice write up on his website when he went a few years ago. This match just sounds like a blast. Glad to see it back on the radar.
  17. That was my thinking, if they offer it in a complete gun then its all there gun, as long as they make the production #'s.
  18. So would it ever be possible to for the new coming LWD lowers be legal for production. If sold with there uppers????? meeting numbers of course.......... Just wondering....... reference this thread LWD lower thread
  19. Well Duane any word yet?????? And anyone have an idea if these would ever be legal for production????? my previous post was really just a guess.....
  20. ***Warning**** goin off topic Its usually either a ceramic frangible or a polymer breaching round. I know a round in particular that was designed for military/LE that is lethal and breaching. Its a handy round out to 50 yards + for urban environments. check it out if ya get bored. Polyshok as a side note it recoils like birdshot as well. Hell of a round IMO for urban police that have a viable rifle back up for longer distances.
  21. my 1100 doesn't jiggle........... sorry couldnt resist, let the spagetti/remington fight never die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. I have been trying to put into words that exact statement. Nice Job Kurt. I try to explain to people why can't get my fellow LEO's out to the range but from now on I'm just gonna print this out on a 3x5 and hand it to them.
  23. Amen to that. I had some new 3 gunners with me and I was letting them use my 1100 since none of them had a shotgun. Now I religously clean every 250 rounds give or take and never have problems. Well there were 4 of us shooting that shotgun that day and they needed a few more rounds than me to clear stages. By the last shotgun stage I was #4 to shoot and wouldn't ya know it...........errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..........yep she took a dump on me, just to many rounds with out at least a wipe down and re-oiling.......Lesson learned.....I share my 870 and keep my 1100 to me or I shoot all my shotgun stages and then loan it out
  24. For the remingtons they need the mag tube/gas piston area wet. Makes em run like a champ. Bolt only gets oil on the extractor and a small amount on the bolt itself. Primary lube points for remmy is action bars, extractor, and on autos the mag tube/piston area. This comes from the Remmy Armorer course.
